Loved my experience
It was my first time going to an escape room and I had an absolute blast. The staff gives you the information you need to know, the actor who hosted us in the Excalibur Room was fantastic, and the props and atmosphere were 10/10. Would definitely go back!

Alien Escape Room
We did the Alien escape room- by far the most thematically cohesive and immersive escape room I have ever done. Actors were great, puzzles were varied and challenging but ultimately were totally solvable. We ALMOST made it out, I will forever be sad I can’t see the ending!

Fun Harry Potter Experience
The ministry of magic room was a lot of fun! Good variety of puzzles, fun Harry Potter stuff, and the actor Preston was awesome and as helpful as we wanted him to be. Definitely recommend!

The best we have done!
Such a great time! We have done several escape rooms and the elf experiment we did was by far the most interactive and fun! A good amount of jump moments to keep you on your toes too! Great difficulty level. The actors were incredible as well!

Best escape room in Utah!
I have been to several escape rooms in the state, including 3 other Harry Potter ones. This one was on another level! The live actress, Mary, was fantastic and really added to the experience! The rooms were incredible and the special effects were amazing! I’ll never go to a different escape room place after trying this one!

So fun!
My group did the Neverland and the Addams Family rooms. There were so many rooms! It was very well designed and pretty difficult, but the actors gave us the right amount of help for our group. We got out of one and not the other. It was very fun!

Great place, good time. i enjoyed all the different puzzles and the guidance that was offered to us. Great acting and good set. Had a great way of drawing us into the story and make it feel real and fun without being tacky

The Amazing Elf Experiment
We did the Elf Escape room and Preston and Mary were awesome!! They did an amazing job setting the tone of the room and helping us through the room!! Cheney was so much fun and made us feel welcome and ready to succeed as soon as we walked through the door!! I would highly recommend coming here for a fun night out!!!

Absolutely amazing! Definitely recommend!
We LOVE Red Giant Escape Rooms! We have done all the rooms and just did their newest room ‘The Addams Family’ and it was amazing! One of my favorite rooms! We got out with 10 seconds left and it was SO much fun! The actor was amazing to help without giving things away and was in such great character. Great atmosphere and tons of fun. Definitely recommend. All the staff is amazing as are the rooms and experience.

The actors we great loved everything about it. We came from California for an unfortunate event and this made it a beyond amazing experience. All the staff was friendly and in character. My group did the xenomorph room and finished with fine to spare. We had an amazing Sargent that got us through but sadly sacrificed to get out alive haha

Kudos to the actors!!

This was intense!! I’ve done a few different escape rooms before. This one was one of the more complicated and involved, but they made it clear up front that there would be no red herrings, and clues would only be used one time each. Having those guidelines was helpful. :) The theme was well-done. Perhaps the most unique aspect of this experience was the interaction with the actors. They did a great job! Amazingly, our group made it out. It helped that we had a lot of smart people who were able to rush around and work on separate puzzles simultaneously.

Best escape room hands down

We have done several escape rooms and this was by far the best. The puzzles were very challenging and had some new twists we have never come across before. They have a live actor in the room with you giving you clues as needed. At first, I wasn’t thrilled about that idea but it ended up great. Our actor really got into his role and it felt like he was just one of our group. We had a large group and I don’t think we would have escaped had we been a smaller group. There were just too many puzzles for a small group to figure out in the time slotted. We divided and conquered!! 😁

Red giants Rox !

I really appreciate having live actors at this escape, they don't get in the way, their presence adds to the environment and you can ask as many clues as you want. They give interesting hints that help you so you can figure the puzzle out on your own.

Excalibur is my favorite room. They are all based on the main fiction genres (fantasy, storybook, horror, scifi/thriller.) and I can't wait for the Harry Potter/magic themed room coming at the end of the year

Best escape room

Red Giant was a cut above a regular escape room. The live actors added an ambiance and atmosphere of urgency that was really fun, and kept things rolling. They kept us from focusing on things that didn't matter and let us know when something was worth spending time on. Our actors (Preston and Paige) were really committed to their roles and it honestly made the whole experience! 10/10, would recommend

Different from any room I’ve done before. An actor is with you in the room and you must interact with them to progress. Lots of good puzzles and having more people is helpful but also a little challenging to know which props have already been solved. Overall it was a fun time and would recommend!

Super fun!

This place was awesome! The staff is so super friendly and nice. The live actors make the experience way fun. There is so much going on in the rooms, it is challenging, mysterious, and makes you think. We'll definitely be coming back, even after doing 2 rooms in less than 24 hours.

Too dark and extremely hard for a "moderate" room

I have mixed feelings about Red Giant Escape Rooms after our family group of four who did the Excalibur room. We are very experienced escape room patrons, having done 20+ rooms in many different states.

On the plus side, the puzzles were unique and well designed. There was a huge amount to solve in one hour, so everyone needed to be working on different things at the same time or we wouldn't have completed it. This is good for a larger group, they could stay busy simultaneously. The actor in the room with us was very good, giving us hints to keep us moving. The room decor was excellent.

On the negative side, the room was so dimly lit we could barely see the puzzles. We were given LED lanterns that increased the light by 5% - slightly better but still too dark to see well which just added an unnecessary barrier to solving the puzzles. The laser light and black light we were given were so dim it was difficult to see what they were illuminating. Maybe new batteries would help? This room was their easiest room (with 50% success rate), but these puzzles were at least twice as hard as any we have seen before. It's good that there was an actor to give hints, because she needed to constantly give suggestions or we would have been stumped. In some cases, we didn't understand the clue even after she told us the answer. Wow. There is a point at which hard puzzles aren't "challenging and fun," they just aren't fun. I would never want to try their "more challenging" rooms. There were so many intense puzzles that I was completely unaware of what puzzles others in our group solved or how a clue I found might fit into some other puzzle that I didn't know existed. Our family group of four were not working together on escaping the room; we were working independently next to each other.

The constant assistance from the actor, we escaped the room with 2 seconds to spare (literally - we finished at 59:58). I don't think I would want to return to Red Eight. I found the experiencing as much stressful as enjoyable, which is too bad because the puzzles were clever and original. They were just so obscure at times they were impenetrable by mere mortals.

this was incredibly fun and the actors (the trip advisors) were very amazing and i only made them break character roughly 7 times. maybe more. um. i miss sergant he was nice to me. uh life is good. dr larsen isn’t. i wish sargent didn’t die that made me sad. a million out of 10. love, tobi. eric and isabelle are my new bffs mostly eric.
