Ogden Untamed

Experience Ogden's only historical true crime tour, led by Ogden resident and author Jennifer Jones. Take a walk while we explore Ogden’s more scandalous crimes and the people involved. The Ogden Untamed Tour takes a look at historical Ogden from the 1920s through the 1950s and beyond. From the opium dens hidden under many of the buildings lining 25th Street, to the bootlegging and speakeasies of the 1920s, and the organized crime of the 1940s.

We've been to the trout farm lots of times. Kindergarten trips, family reunion, date night. You can catch fish in the pond. Play volleyball, tetherball.

I took my precious bunch of grandkids to the trout farm on 8/31. This is an annual event for us. What a fantastic time is had by all. We reserved picnic tables, the kids fished for a little over an hour. The customer service people were great. They cleaned and filleted the fish. We had a picnic afterwards. What a fantastic and pleasant experience. I would highly recommend this place to everyone.

This is a wonderful place to go fishing especially if you're not a fisherman. The ponds are stocked and my little nephew loved catching the fish and watching them clean it before we went home. They have a large bowery that is nice for groups. We fished and then fried the fish right there and ate. It is a great family owned business.

We took 4 daisy girl scouts from our troop to try fishing for the first time (the 2 leaders were basically first time fisherwomen ourselves), and it was their very favorite part of our trip to Ogden. They all wanted to go back again at the end. It is set up very well for small kids and families, as well as little girl scout troops like us. :)

My preschool comes every spring for a field trip. The staff are helpful and the setting is exquisite. I would recommend this place for family activities. I only wish it was open on Sundays!
