Great place! They strike that happy balance between totally professional and totally fun. Dusty Hanks was my instructor and I can’t say enough good things about him. He took me from flailing and bouncing off the walls to rock-solid stable while turning, climbing, and descending with ease. It’s rare to find guys at his level who have both the patience and natural teaching ability to handle complete beginners.

We took 17 junior high students and were so impressed with the staff there. They were really encouraging and helped with anxiety. Every one of our students decided to fly, even those who were worried at first, and it ended up being a big confidence-builder for them. I really, really recommend this for students who need a success story!

Our whole family went to iFLY in Ogden on a Saturday. We had two adults, a 13 year old, a 10 year old and a 7 year old. It was such a great experience. It is really unique, I've never done anything like it. Our instructor was really fun and positive. Half of our group added on the high fly option, which I think was definitely worth it. If you are afraid of heights, like my youngest, it might not be the best, however. You come down fast while you are spinning, which is very exhilarating, and fun for people who aren't worried about the heights. I would come back again, but I would try to come at a less busy time of year/day. We went on a Saturday afternoon during Christmas break and our group was huge - 13 people (8 others we didn't know). I would have preferred a smaller group. We had to squeeze to fit everyone on the bench outside the wind chamber.

Flow rider as an experience is as expected with water, mini surf boards and lots of music. However the staff could use a lot of training on customer service. When we walked in 3 boys were at the desk; 2 on their phones and 1 kind of available to answer questions. Once we established our names and the reservation information we were instructed to fill out the forms and get ready for the water. The instructor didn't ask us our level of experience, he just handed us a board and we were shot to the bottom of the deck in no time. (Later we were told the instructor could have slowed down the rate of flow and instructed us on how to surf.) Another party with more experienced surfers showed up and our time was much shorter because they could surf and they did take their turn leaving us with seconds to learn and many minutes to wait for another shot at being shot to the end of the wave.

We had so much fun! The instructors at Ifly and Flowrider were exceptional. Gave great instructions and made the experience wonderful. Definitely pay the extra $10 in Ifly for the Top Flight option where the instructor takes you to the top of the chamber.

My kids age 11-15 loved all three experiences ("skydiving", Flowrider, and the climbing wall). The staff was fabulous. I'd have liked it even better if the iFly staff had worn masks outside the wind tunnel. Our group of six was lucky enough to go on a weekday morning and have two experiences to ourselves, so that was good social distancing :)...we did share the "skydiving" experience, however, and the waiting room for that experience is close quarters, fyi, and you can't really wear masks there. If you're trying to be Covid-responsible, insist on wearing the cowls (I forget what they're called) they have on hand to wear under your helmet.

Gabe was our instructor, and he immediately made my 9 year old daughter feel very comfortable and even after she went in the tunnel he brought her out to adjust her helmet and took her back in! So I was happy to see how on the safety aspect they are! My friend and I also had a great time! It was so fun and we would definitely do it again!!

Surprised our twin boys for their 8th birthday to take a flight and my husband as he has sky dived once before and loved it. Everyone at iFly was absolutely AMAZING!!!! The flight instructor was originally from Hawaii and he has so much good energy and was fantastic (per husband and kids). Will absolutely be coming again and recommending iFly and the staff there to everyone!!!

So worth the trip, especially if you do the groupon package with the rock climbing and surfing! First time fliers will not be in the tunnel very long as you’re learning to get the hang of it. Definitely add on the high fly experience ($10) for the most fun/realistic skydiving experience! And be sure to make sure you understand the hand signals the instructor will use to communicate with you in the tube. Very difficult to understand what they are mouthing at you in there. Ha

The folks at the front desk said a 10 minute flight was $180. My wife pointed out that you can get the rock wall, flow rider AND Ifly for $80 doing groupon. That would put the I fly at right around $27.
That is a 675% markup.
