We hiked up the Waterfall Canyon Trail after a snowstorm . The trail had been packed down a little but there was plenty of snow at the Waterfall site. Given this trail is a busy "highway" in the summer, we were fortunate to enjoy it...More

Beautiful views of many things, Ogden, the mountains, rock formations and nature. It definitely feels like you’re escaping the city, without driving outside of it.

This review is for Winter Hiking to the waterfall at Waterfall Canyon. I moved to the Ogden area in late 2018. Through Weber County Outdoors I made my first hike to the waterfall in the dark AND in a snowstorm. It was a great adventure....More

Year around great trip. Summer it's for families and a great day trip. Winter it's frozen for Jeff Lowe of Ogden and other international ice climbers who hang out in Ogden Utah and Ouray Colorado.

This hike is fairly easy, but I would probably not take children that are too young. My favorite hikes are the ones where there is something really cool at the end and this one has a nice waterfall. Was there in the fall, and it...More

The trail is steep in sections but is a great short hike we like to take every year. The waterfall is better earlier in the year but still worth the trip anytime you decide to go.

Great hike with family. About a 5 mile round trip. Take lots of water. My kids took several breaks but was worth it. Lower terrain isn’t too bad but last 0.75 miles very steep and rocky. Also in August not much of a waterfall but...More

It's kind of a longish hike, but not the hardest. Good views of Ogden area on the way up/down and stop and enjoy the beautiful waterfall area when you get there.

We did this hike today and while it was beautiful, I would not recommend it for anyone who is has any kind of mobility issues or is the least bit clumsy. It's one of the hardest hikes I've personally done, but the waterfall was worth...More

6 adults ages 53-23 and our 7 year old hiked to the waterfall. Sunny in the beginning and then you move into a tree lined trail and out of the sun. You hike along a small creek. This is a fairly continuous elevation gain but...More

Yes it’s open. Because weather conditions vary, it is difficult to answer what the trail will be like in October.

The hike itself is only about 3 miles. If you're talking time, it all depends on your fitness level.
