We visited the Ogden Nature Center, located at 966 W 12th St, Ogden, UT 84404 this year with our grand kids, they had a bunch of bird houses to check out, and some crafts and dancers going on, as well as a nice walk in the woods. The Grand kids had fun, and so did Grandpa and Grandma!

A very good place to relax and enjoy the area. Also some very good wild life and interest about them. A place to learn more, especially for children of all ages.

The Ogden Nature Center is a great place to spend some time outside right in the city. Their trails wind through woods and around ponds. They also have very nice blinds at each pond, where you can watch birds do their thing without being influenced by your presence. The gift shop is very nice and we always go there for... More

This is a very family friendly educational place. Easy to get to. Very helpful people. We got to pet the Tortoise while they were feeding him. We also saw the baby turtles. Several birds, snakes etc. Don't miss out , and don't forget bug spray. TONS of misquitoes.

Beautiful scenery abounds. An excellent place for photos or to just meander and enjoy the beauty. There is ample parking available.

The Ogden Nature Center was founded as a result of the Ogden Defense Depot being turned over to the city of Ogden. The agreement requires that part of the land be set aside for recreation. The Ogden Nature Center is primarily a nature education facility through which thousands of school age children pass through each year. There are plenty of... More

There are places that have a spirit that draw you back again and again. The Nature Center is one of these places. Located off 12th Street in Ogden, this is a haven for animals, nature and peace. As you wander the paths, you get a chance to spend some quiet time enjoying those little bits of nature we often ignore.... More

This place is very beautiful with many birds to be seen. They have many raptors that are kept in their ewes for various reasons. Some are rescues that were injured and are unable to re-released into the wild. In the summer, they will have shows with the birds where you can see the training they have done with them. There... I think that was the name of the big, mischievous raven I saw, amid the eagles and other birds that cannot return to the wild. He was so amusing! I'll always have a warm spot in my heart for ravens. I came to Salt Lake City for a conference and had a limited time to see nature. I visited the... More
