I like taking my grandkids here for a day adventure. Not only do they have a zoo of the native animals of the area, but they have great hiking trails and look out towers. It also is a great place to come and volunteer. There are staff members who welcome any help you can offer.

My daughter and I have been here a lot over the years. We used to go weekly for Wild Wednesdays where kids got to learn about animals and their environment. Sometimes getting to pet animals and do an activity. Lots of recused animals to see, wild deer hang about, activities, hiking trails, birding.

The Ogden Nature Center is a open area where you can walk around the many trails and see birds and animals of all kinds in their natural element. They do have hands-on classes for children as well as bird shows. You can walk around and see great birds in their majesty who unfortunately cannot be released back into the wild... More

The center itself is pretty small but is home to 1/2 a dozen little critters my favorite is an owl. Outside they have another 1/2 dozen large birds like Eagles and Hawks all the have been hurt and could not be returned to the wild. But the real fun is outside where you can wonder the trails and see all... More

I've been coming to the Ogden Nature Center for MANY years. Seen a lot of changes- for the better! First few trips here were on field trips with my children when in kindergarten. They always loved the activities here. I asked my kids what they remembered most about the Nature Center, and they all remembered putting a sock on over... More

Great place to take kids to learn about nature. They do some great activities and presentations about animals and plants that the kids love! Most of what goes on happens outside and the kids love that!

We visited the Ogden Nature Center, located at 966 W 12th St, Ogden, UT 84404 this year with our grand kids, they had a bunch of bird houses to check out, and some crafts and dancers going on, as well as a nice walk in the woods. The Grand kids had fun, and so did Grandpa and Grandma!

The Ogden Nature Center is a great place to spend some time outside right in the city. Their trails wind through woods and around ponds. They also have very nice blinds at each pond, where you can watch birds do their thing without being influenced by your presence. The gift shop is very nice and we always go there for... More
