An amazing building. Not only do you see Egyptian history and art you also learn about the theater itself and therefore some of the history of Ogden City. We were also treated to a performance by the Organist on the amazing Pipe Organ they have there!

Saw a movie here during the Sundance Festival. The place has been amazingly restored, and continues the Egypt motif on the inside. They had an organ player while we waited for the movie to start, explaining this is what they would play during silent films in the 1920s. Great atmosphere for catching a show, history buff will appreciate it!

World class appearance, service, and performances. If you're in the area try to go even if its just to look around. The ceiling is the original ceiling put in 1920's and I think it's the most beautiful peice of interior design work I've ever seen

This theater is Egyptian decor inside and out. It harks back to the time when going to the movies was an event. You can enjoy plays, concerts, Sundance film festivals, Banff film festivals and so much more.

The Egyptian is one of the few Egyptian theaters in the US that have been saved and restored. It is located downtown Ogden next to the Convention Center. There are all kinds of performances here, Music, Dance, Theater and yes even movies. Sundance even has showings here. It is a beautiful old theater.

Went to The Rocky Horror Picture Show here on Halloween night. Had a blast. They even handed out props. Would do it again.

This is a great old theatre that is worth any admission price just to wander around and view the renovations done to bring this beautiful treasure back from the brink. One of the few remaining theatres of its kind, like the Wilma in Missoula, the Egyptian is a diamond in the rough, the rough being Ogden. Although the area is... More
