This a fairly easy hike through beautiful forest ending at a lovely mountain stream and falls. I would heavily advise to hike this on a weekday as it gets very crowded on the weekend, which causes challenges with driving in (there are people who do...More

The trail head wasn't clearly marked. The falls weren't accessible with the high water the water was at a dangerous level so the trail along the river wasn't safe for kids or adults. Multiple other trails ended in a dead end. Definitely not as fun...More

Easy hike however, you might not make it all the way to see inside. We went late May and there still was to much spring run off and snow to make it all the way up. The last 100 feet is walking up the river...More

We are from Maryland and it did not even occur to us that there would be snow on the ground in April. There was lots of snow. The road to the parking lot by the bathroom was covered with snow. We had to park out...More

The first part of the hike to the base of the falls is pretty easy. In order to get near or to the top of the falls you'll need to climb over rocks and you'll most likely get wet so bring the proper shoes.

We did this hike as a snowshoe and it was about 3.5 miles round trip from the road where everyone has to park. I think this is a shorter route than you find if you hike it during the summer. You walk down the road...More

The hike is easy, we clocked it at about 3/4 mile. The only mildly difficult part is right at the falls itself. Once you get to the falls there is a sign that states you shouldn't go any further due to it being dangerous. If...More

What a great afternoon adventure. First off, I’m not a hiker… but, I’m trying! My sister and I decided to take a couple of hours (honestly that is all it takes) and go see Donut Falls. Google Maps takes you right to the trail head....More

This a great little place off the beaten track. Nice little hike (but quite a steep rise at first before levelling off). Doesn't take long through, with some beautiful scenery along the way. Nice and cool when we went. A little scramble down towards the...More

This is a moderate hike that doesn’t take too long. The trail is in and back. There is parking right off the main road, but if it isn’t too crowded, you can drive in a little farther and park right next to the trailhead. The...More
