The tour was listed as "3.5 hour history and culture tour", we paid $111 each for this tour and the brochure we got when we entered the Navajo lands gave us more information than our guide, Larry, so we really feel that we wasted over $300. We received absolutely zero history or culture. We did get to see some beautiful scenery and we did go off the regular path to see sights we would not have seen without taking the tour but honestly we were disappointed and felt that we had hired a driver not a tour guide. The only information given was the names of the formations. The vehicle we rode in was in very poor condition, 2 doors didn't work, seats were in very poor repair, unsatisfactory tour vehicle for guests. Overall, not at all the experience we thought we were going to get and we would certainly not have paid this amount of money for what we received. In addition, the tour lists a visit to a Hogan with rug weaving demonstration and significance of Navajo artifacts. During our tour we were told we could see this "if you guys want to for an additional $3 per person donation". We choose not to pay extra. We could have gone with many other tour companies for $30 to $40 less per person, we chose this one based on the website description of it being a history and culture tour in addition to seeing the sights, sadly we did not receive this.
