We took a private Sunset Tour of Monument Valley, combined with the Dreamcatcher dinner and cultural program. There was a little confusion over when we were supposed to meet our guide, but we got underway without issues. Our guide Ferrison Cody was excellent. He explained not only the sights in Monument Valley, but also life for the Navajo and the history of the area and the tribe. Visitors can drive the scenic drive in their own vehicles, but by taking a guided tour you have access to areas that are not open to the public. We were one of the last vehicles to leave the valley...as the last rays of the setting sun were hitting the monuments. At the dinner, Cody was very attentive and made sure we got our Navajo Tacos before the large group of college students. The dinner and program, around a campfire, under a sky full of stars was a nice end to the day. Highly recommend taking a tour with Simpson's Trailhandler Tours.

We had a tour with Cody which was incredible. He provided a lot of insight about Navajo culture and just generally took the time to take all the pictures we wanted and explain the landscape. Great tour!!!

This was an excellent way to see Monument Valley. They have the priviledge of going in prior to those waiting in private cars. Along with beautiful scenery they tell the history and folklore of the area.

If you could do only one thing, ( for us time restraint ) this is it. We feel our tour was so thorough we leave Monument Valley very satisfied we seen the best of everything with guide, and the family that hosted dinner and Performed were like visiting friend’s. Things are rough right now because of COVID and we were thee only ones there and instead of canceling they treated us the same as if there were many people . We felt like we made new friends and Cody who guided us through the valley was great. Monument Valley is something you can’t miss and this tour is the best way to do it.
