Superb two-hour horseback ride up and close with the giants of Monument Valley. Our tour guide was Robert. As a local, he was very knowledgeable about the area, the traditions, as well as the numerous movies and TV shows that were filmed there. Horses were well guided and amiable. Entertaining and safe experience for all age groups. If you want to experience Monument Valley, don't miss this treasure.

We rode a two hour horseback tour with Robert. He took us to prime photo spots, allowed us to get to know our horses, provided interesting history about the many rock formations in the area - and pointed out many locations in famous film scenes as well as their own horses that were ridden by Johnny Depp and Kevin Hart! The horses were wonderful-very responsive and well-behaved. We couldn’t have been happier with our experience.

My friend and myself did a 2 hour horse back ride. We absolutely loved the ride, scenery and of course our wonderful guide Larry! He was very friendly and kind to share stories with us. He definitely made the tour special! We can’t wait to go back!

It's taken me over a week to review my September 15th rides because I just haven't stopped telling people about it since. I checked into The View Hotel early evening on the 14th and didn't sleep a wink because I knew what I was in for the next morning...and as it turned out, the next evening as well. Up on Sideburn for two hours the next morning with Larry as my Navajo guide...he's a top hand, FYI, and down amongst the giant edifices . The legendary John Ford Western footage is so real you'll almost feel it. They're so massive I am at a loss for words. Larry filled in some backstory entailing Navajo beliefs [listen to him] and I booked an evening trip as soon as we got back in the corral. And when they say "a gallop may be in the works"...they ain't kidding. Even caught some wild mustangs during the evening jaunt. Do NOT go to Monument Valley and pass on this opportunity of a lifetime. And don't wait until you're almost 70 either. Then again...better late than never.

2 hour ride. Excellent! Horses are great trail rides. Robert, the guide, provided excellent narration not just of the landscape and history, but as well, life in the Navajo (Dine') Nation.
