Roy Black Horseback riding stable did a great job with my group. It was not a easy group as one rider was a real beginner. Bradley was knowledgeable about the horses and the native culture and very patient with us all!

We weren’t confident riders, we were looked after very well. Lovely horses very relaxed ride. Our guild didn’t talk much which we didn’t mind at all. The scenery did all the talking, absolutely loved seeing Monument Valley on horseback! Definitely book this trip.

After contacting several horseback riding companies in Monument Valley Joe Atene with Wild West Trail rides responded quickly and everything seemed to fit right. I booked a 2 hr Sunset ride through Monument Valley. No hassle (everything was arranged via email for the ride). My friend and I arrived at the meeting spot "The View Hotel" lobby where we met our guide Herb! Herb is amazing and I can't say enough fantastic things about him!!! We then went to the coral and picked our horse. We had our choice of horses based on our experience and what we wanted to do! They have fast horses, slow horses, mellow horses, crazy horses lol whatever your heart desires they have it! During our 2 hr ride Herb educated us on the surrounding land formations, gave us cool info on medicinal plants, took as many pictures of us as we wanted and made sure we were safe at all times! It was a magical experience and I'm so glad we did not go with a one of the larger companies in the monument. My friend and I had this ride all to ourselves! They aren't a large company but they're the best company. I found them on The View hotel website. Joeatene at yahoo.com

We payed for a 1.5hrs tour at the booth in front of the visitor Center. When we arrived at the stables no one knew about our reservation but in a couple of minutes they managed to find it and began preparing the horses..some of the Animals looked quite tired but the staff was very kind and loving with them. We started the visit with half an hour delay but everything went great and our guide Derick was very good as well...a must do experience.

Excellent. We went for an hour and a half with a guide who told us lots about the Native Americans which was very interesting. We had never ridden before and the horses were brilliant. A great experience
