Will Cowboy was our guide. He shared personal stories, Navajo legend, and Hollywood trivia that really enhanced the experience. Some crazy four-wheeling at the end was a blast too! Don't worry nothing dangerous or over the top. Scenic drive with lots of stops for pics and stories. Will even sang and played the drum for us at one point. We... More

We took the sunrise tour last week and it was phenomenal. Don was our guide. He was on time and in the exact location they said he would be in. Don was extremely knowledgeable and thoughtful. He took us to places in the backcountry that we couldn't explore on our own. We had an amazing sunrise and he showed us... More

We had a great tour, we went on the monument valley morning tour, which was great! It was over 40 degrees when we went, so we had come with some water, but the guide had brought a crate of water for everyone on board too... It was really interesting to go down in the valley and hear from a real... More

Booked a morning tour of Mystery Valley (a bit different from general Monument Valley tours). The tour takes you to a series of canyons to the east of the main valley with several anasazi sites, steep canyon walls and rock art. We had Sean as our guide, a young Navajo, perfect guide for my older teens as he was pretty... More

My experience with Navajo Spirit Tours was excellent all the way around. Before deciding to book with them, I wrote e-mails to them asking questions about the appropriateness of the tours for my 91-year-old mom. The responses were quick and informative. Everything they said was true, and I'm glad I decided to go with this company. My mom and I... More

My second guided tour in the Monument Valley with Navajo spirit tours. This tour was fantastic. Don, the guide, absolutely made the tour better than I could've imagined. His knowledge of the Navajo people and history gave us so much more than we expected. We also visited places that I hadn't seen before. He sang for us!!! Perfect.

So glad I decided to book a tour for my family with Navajo Spirit Tours. If you try to drive through Monument Valley on your own, you will not have access to amazing rock formations and features. Not only did our guide teach us about Navajo social traditions, he told us about the uses of the native plants, ancient petroglyphs,... More

Superb way to see both Monument and Mystic Valleys. Our Navajo guide Shaun was fabulous and with his great narration and local knowledge gave us a real insight into the wonders and history of this amazing area and his home. Best moment was Shaun playing his flute in the eagle cave ampitheatre!

My husband and I spent the day with Loyal, our guide, at the Monument Valley and Mystery Valley tour last week. The tours were beyond what we had hoped for. The history and stories behind the Navajo and tribal park gave us a new respect for the people and the earth. Loyal shared so many stories and put a personal... More

Only by chance did I learn that to truly see Monument Valley, a Navajo guided tour is must. I found Navajo Spirit Tours, I believe, from a recommended list on either the hotel website or the tourism board site. I left a message and received a return call the next morning. We decided to splurge on a private tour as... More
