The price is right for a quick stop here ($20). More of a hands on museum for kids. They could use more displays pertinent to canyon country.

Hands on science activities and a rock wall. Trails outside but it was raining and we didn’t do those. Looked like a nice picnic area too

Our first impromptu stop was the pueblo-style Canyon Country Discovery Center, located right off US 191 just before Monticello. The entrance fee was a very reasonable $6. We chatted it up with the very animated young lady who ran the place. She was born and...More

It's very nice and new. It's on the small side, but it's got a lot of great activities for the kids to do. It's very interactive. Outside is also a natural play area that is nice.

Spent 4 hours here enjoying the kids museum exhibits and bouldering wall; kids 1-7 loved it and the adults too; not crowded and reasonable admission prices, free wifi & beautiful facility; great day to "rest" from outdoor heat hiking & visiting parks
