I was super disappointed with the way things were run. There was only one person at the top of the hill directing people and they wouldn’t say anything unless you asked them directly. They closed down the hill for almost 45 minutes with no explanation/communication and pretty much every employee seemed extremely uninterested in their job. No crowd control, safety precautions and the snow was ice and dangerous. For $27 I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the experience. Waste of money and I won’t be coming back.

I had two very disappointed little boys who did not get to drive mini snowmobiles. I called in advance to ensure that they were available this year and was frustrated to find that they were not being staffed the day we went. Three workers sat at the counter to tell me that they didn’t have adequate staffing to run them. To make matters worse, we had gone earlier than our pre-purchased tubing time to allow lots of time for snowmobiling. I asked to change to an earlier tubing time or for a refund instead of waiting to go tubing. Both requests were denied with terrible customer service.

The actual tubing was fun, but it was terribly organized and very crowded.

Bottom line: The staffing management, customer service, and organization were terrible. Most businesses are struggling with the impacts of Covid, but that is not an excuse for such terrible customer service. If you want to go tubing in the Park City area, go to Woodward instead. If you want great customer service, go to Wasatch Excursions.

This place is easy to find. Getting tickets ahead to time is easy and the tickets are good value. It was obvious where to go for the restrooms and they have good spaces inside at the check in to change into outerwear. Looked like they also have gear to rent there too. The haus was warm and inviting with tasty snacks and good cappacino. The wait staff at the snack bar was very friendly and so were the check-in staff. The tubeing course was well looked after and the moving walkway kept us going to the top. The tubes are spacious and in good shape and the pans worked for good slides. The course was LOTS of fun, and for a first timer 68 year old I made it through with lots of laughs and screams too. It seemed to go faster when I was with my friend in her tube and together we picked up good speed. There are nice young men in yellow jackets keeping the starting area clear and helping people when needed.

The tubes are nice and the hill is fast.... too bad I only got 4 runs in 2 hrs due to the horrible lines! Wait time was about 25-30 minutes (in line at the bottom of the hill). They sell wayyyyyyyy too many tickets. I’d rather pay more and have fewer people there. The fact that 2 of the tubing lanes were closed made it even worse. There was no social distancing evident, and people working seemed so bored and uninterested in their job.

If I could have rated this experience a zero, I would have. Terribly run, poorly staffed. No signs or directions upon arrival at the venue. Only two employees at the top of the hill, not all the shoots were open. Mass chaos, no one directing people. Random rules such as "two people can go down this shoot but not this one". Very icy, very slick. Nothing like having an employee say to you "make sure you drag your feet once you reach the cones or you will crash and get hurt". Say WHAT??!!! We went at 6pm, it was dark, no idea WHERE the cones were (especially if you end up riding backwards). My 12 year old daughter and I went down once and we were done. My husband and boys (15 and 18) went down twice and then called it quits. None of us felt safe. We would NOT recommend and would definitely NOT recommend for young children. My 12 year old couldn't even reach the ground with her feet so if she hadn't ridden linked to my husband, it would have been a disaster.

I've never posted a negative review before, but our experience was so bad I have to warn others.
We brought a huge group up to tube and my family had been before so we were excited for the outing. When we arrived there was nobody working on the hills and it was snowing pretty wet snow. Having grown up in Utah, and an avid skier, I am aware that companies do not control the weather. However, the SHN Center was doing nothing to mitigate the conditions. I tried three times to tube down the hill, but ended up literally walking down because my tube wouldn't go more than a few feet before stopping.
I spoke to the manager about the lack of prep on the runs for the conditions and she said that the lanes are prepped every morning. I would venture that wasn't true as we were there at 9:15 and saw nobody on the hill. But even if it was true, it clearly wasn't adequate. She refused a discounted return ticket and basically said they don't control the weather- which I understand, but they certainly have a duty to provide customers with an actual tubing experience OR close if they are unable/unwilling to do so.
Absolutely do not recommend this place. If you want to go, do not buy tickets in advance as your ability to actually tube at all will be based on current conditions as the SHN Center does next to nothing to provide a good experience unless the conditions are naturally good.

My family had an amazing time Tubing here. It wasn't too cold and the track was excellent. We went at 12-2 time slot. The line for the "magic carpet" moved steady and for my boys that didn't want to wait they just walked up the hill. I don't get the bad reviews, there was plenty of direction on where to go and what to do. My son even left his tube with his hat and gloves and went to the bathroom, when he came back it was all there waiting for him. This place is worth going to. Have fun!!

We have gone for many years and it’s been so fun. This year during our 2 hour block we only got to sled 4 times down the hills. Too many people in our block of time. The walking sidewalk is slower, they space you out too far and don’t allow you to walk. It took the same amount of time to walk up the hill as ride. Poor planning at the top made for a difficult entrance to the hill- they clearly did not think this one out! Saw several people fall hard. We won’t be going here again- going to try one of the other spots in Utah.

Purchased ahead of time and signed the waiver so we could 'expedite entry'. The reality is...you will arrive and wait in line anyway for them to print your pass'. Lame. The snow on the hill is also subpar and not refreshed. Our passes should have been highly discounted.

Cross country skiing was nice but tubing was lame. Not steep at all and just 4 slow straight lanes with no bumps or turns. We got bored after a couple of runs so not worth it if you’ve tubed anywhere else.
