We booked a guided UTV tour with Wasatch Excursions to celebrate our anniversary, and it was the highlight of our Park City vacation. Our tour guide, Mason, took us on a two-hour ride through Wasatch Mountain State Park where we did several water crossings, wove through aspen groves, and climbed to the top of the mountain to enjoy unparalleled views of the state park, Heber Valley, and Deer Creek Reservoir. We passed a handful of other riders on the trails, but we had the final viewpoint to ourselves and it was amazing. I would highly recommend booking a guided tour with Wasatch Excursions, and if you can swing it, a private tour with Mason. It’s worth every penny, and you’ll have an adventure that you’ll be talking about for years to come.

We were there on January 27 and Park City was having a great snowfall. Ted was our guide and we had a great time. I have been an off-road enthusiast for over 50 years riding motorcycles, quads, buggies and now UTVs. But this was my first time on a snowmobile. The landscape, heavy snow fall, and limited visibility made for an exciting and fun adventure. Ted adjusted the ride according to our experience. We are a couple of 70 year olds and were paired with a couple of mid-20 year olds. Once he felt comfortable with our experience he picked up the pace and adjusted the performance of the sled.
I guess my best review is to say I would do this again. We are planning a trip to Montana in August and I am thinking a stop in Park City and getting these guys to give us a SxS guide to explore the area and go for a long ride!!
Thanks Wasatch Experience for a most enjoyable outing.

Our group rented three UTV's with a guide for a 2 hour ride. Originally we booked unguided, but when we saw the vast area, we decided to play it safe and use a guide. We were also afraid that having a guide would be a little dull. NOT TRUE! Our guide Sky was the best! Sky is really fun, took us to the best places see nature and provide the best photo opportunities.
The equipment was all in excellent condition and easy to drive. Trails were really fun, especially the water crossings.
I highly recommend Wasatch Excursions for your UTV/ATV/Snowmobile entertainment. We plan on returning to try out the snowmobile excursion next season.
Be sure to request Sky as your guide!

I hosted a small customer snowmobile outing and our entire experience from start to finish was top notch. Our guides were enthusiastic, patient, and a lot of fun. I've been on a few snowmobile tours in other parts of the country where you pretty much just drive down ATV roads to some scenic lookouts, but I really enjoyed the "free roam" areas Wasatch Excursions incorporated into our tour -- it really let us get to learn and experience the machines the way we wanted. Everyone in our group had a blast, and I wouldn't hesitate doing it again as soon as possible.
One word of advice: if you don't specifically have sled gear, don't bring any snow clothing. All of the gear we rented was amazing (snow suits, gloves, boots, goggles, and helmets). I wore jeans and a t-shirt under my rented snow suit and I was completely comfortable. If it's especially cold you may want some added I dilation. I brought my own ski gear and snowboard boots just in case and never ended up using any of it. I would recommend a face mask or balaclava though; our faces did get a bit cold, even though it was a sunny and relatively warm day.
Highly recommend Wasatch Excursions!

When planning our vacation we decided to skip a day at the mountains and go snowmobiling. The place was clean and the forms only took a moment. Unfortunately for us the view was poor due to heavy clouds so we missed the full visual experience but we still had an absolute blast. Our one complaint was the timing. We paid for a 2 hour excursion and despite arriving early, we only had about 1 1/2 hours of actual snow time.

My husband and I were in Park City celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary and wanted to ride snowmobiles while we were there. We did some research online and called a few different companies to see which one was close to where we were staying (historic Park City) and that best suited what we were looking for (gear rental and a guided 2 hour tour). We found Wasatch Excursions and booked it (only a 25-30 minute drive from Park City). We arrived to find out no one else had booked a tour during the time we did, so we pretty much had a private tour with our guide, Patrick! Patrick was phenomenal! Although my husband and I have experience with motor sports, we live in GA, so snowmobiling is not something we had done anytime recently. He was very thorough in explaining how to maneuver the the sled and the hand signals to follow throughout the tour. We had a blast! Patrick kept the tour exciting! I’m SO glad we chose to go snowmobiling and that we chose Wasatch Excursions. This was one of the highlights of our trip. Money well spent!!!

This was our first time to Park City and it was beautiful! We decided to try the guided snow mobiling tour and this trip did not disappoint. The views were breathtaking. Our guide Joe did a great job at stopping to give a chance to take photos and enjoy the beautiful views. During the tour, we had the scenic time but also had time to "let loose" and really test out the speed of the snow mobile. The trip was awesome and one of the high lights of our trip. I would absolutely recommend it. Also, they offer a shuttle and picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel which was very convenient for us. Great views, great ride, and so much fun!

This was our second time with Wasatch Excursions. We did a guided ATV tour with Hayden again, and it did not disappoint! The ATV was in great condition and seated the 4 of us very comfortably and safely. Knowing that this was our second time, our guide went a different route than the previous trip. We still had spectacular views of the Wasatch Mountains and great weather. This is starting to become our son's birthday tradition: ATV riding with Hayden and friends at Wasatch Excursions!

We did the guided snowmobile tour with Wasatch excursions. The guide was very friendly and helpful. This place is located an hour drive from Salt Lake City downtown and it is recommended you arrive 45 minutes before your tour time. The place is also close distance to some breakfast places. The trail was very good. We went up the mountains and stopped at 2 meadows where you are allowed to drive fast and play around. We then stopped at a lookout which was gorgeous. Worth the price.

Duuuuuuude! We booked a 2hr morning ATV ride at Wasatch Excursions and arrived early to see the guys line up the vehicles for the morning run. I immediately knew I'd have a good time cuz of the easy going, yet professional rapport of the workers.
We did the obligatory paperwork, helmeting, goggling, etc. then waited for the other duo on our group to arrive. Once we all showed up, Hayden went over everything about the ATV, the paths, what to expect, safety, emergency procedures, etc. He was thorough, attentive, funny, and a great guide.
The pace was perfect, the scenery jaw dropping, and the short breaks were perfectly timed. Loved the rocky trails transitioning to the dusty forested trails, then to low area water crossings, and finally the ride to the peak where we feasted on the entire valley laid out in front of us. Who cares if you are covered in dust - this is living!
All good things come to an end so we headed back to base. Hayden used compressed air to get the surface dust from each of us, then air dropped the water crossing vids he took to my phone. I couldn't have asked for a better guide or better time.
Wasatch Excursions ATV rides are where it's at in the summer - you bet I'm coming back for some winter snowmobiling fun!
