An excellent full-package experience. For those looking to sample a variety of outdoor activities, this place ticks the boxes without the typical high sticker price. The staff were friendly and competent, while still maintaining the small town charm. Again, would highly recommend for groups and families looking to get an a la carte option to fulfill their individual needs and preferences at the right price.

My wife and I went over the weekend to get away from it all and celebrate my birthday. We floated the lazy river Friday (last run) and it was chill and relaxing. This was mid-Aug so the temperature was great on the last run (not too hot). We were put with a group of about 25 so we just let them go ahead and we had the river to ourselves. They provided the life vests and the tubes to float in. We had waterproof phone bags and got some great pictures. There are a few bends in the river that will keep you on point and you have to paddle not to float into bushes or the bank. We actually came back for labor day with my extended family (30 of us) and everyone had a great time (ages 8 to 68).
We also did the white water rafting. It was fun and pretty tame. Our guide was great and funny. I always felt safe and actually hoped it would have been a little more. It was my wife's speed so it was great.
Not a lot to do but chill and relax so lazy river and white water rafting should be 1 and 2 on your list.
Bonus tip- the Tomatoes Pizza place in Marysville is really good and the ice cream was surprisingly tasty. They close on the early side and it is popular (busy) so plan accordingly.

I thought this would be a good introduction to white water rafting for my 10 year old son. I was right. The river has up to class 3 rapids to go along with the beautiful scenery. Our guide was knowledgeable and experienced, buy also fun. I wish we would have had time to try the zipline as well. Oh well, that gives us something else to try next time.
I know some customers stop as they are driving north or south on Hwy. 89, some have camped in the area and some come specifically for this experience. This is also only about a 10-15 minute drive south of I-70 if you're heading east or west. If you're in the area, I would also recommend stopping at Freemont Indian State Park about 15-20 minutes away.

Kaisyn Holdaway was the BEST river guide ever!! She is so uplifting, safe, knowledgeable, entertaining, caring, and made my first river rafting trip a 10/10!! I would highly recommend this company as we hung out with them throughout the weekend and saw how kind and genuine their love toward this business is. This is the perfect location to book your next adventure as it is handled by highly skilled workers who love people and have a strong passion for what they do!!

I highly recommend going river rafting at Big Rock Adventure! Beth was our guide and she was amazing she kept us safe through the rapids and handled sketchy areas calmly. She even pointed out the awesome sites and old history along the way.

We had a blast at Big Rock Adventure! The lazy river was a great balance between exciting and relaxing.
The rafting is not to be missed! Our guide, Nathan, did a fantastic job of not only navigating the river in a safe and exciting way, but also making us laugh, giving a tour of the canyon, and throwing in extras like tea cups and cliff jumping and a swim party. We had kids from 6years old and up and they were empowered feeling like they had accomplished a hard thing (even though it was mostly our guide;) ).
We also did some of the ropes and adventure courses. Again, I was thrilled at how they accommodated younger children, giving them opportunities to be brave and feel accomplished. The different activities were challenging but doable enough to feel stretched, but not frustrated. Perfect balance.
Definitely recommend! We will be back!

We had a great time zip lining! The guides were experienced, helpful, and personable. We planned to do go zip lining but woke up to it snowing so they let us reschedule and come another time with better weather. We had a 17, 15, and 12 year old and they all had a lot of fun. I wish we had time that trip for some other activities also. With ten in our group, the activity lasted a little less than an hour, including prep and instruction time.

We booked with Big Rock Adventures for our young men annual camp out. Rachel was great to work with for scheduling our activities and being flexible on the numbers. They kept changing and they even charged us less when one member of our group didn’t do one activity. Our boys had a great time with all of the activities and the river guides we had were awesome. I don’t remember all of their names. They made the river rafting awesome. Also they were awesome on our other activities.

We did a river rafting trip with 20 teenaged girls and 7 adults. We had the time of our lives! Each guide was so great and fun. The girls all said it was their favorite part of our trip. We highly recommend this company to anyone in the area regardless of their abilities. The guides were knowledgeable and helped put anyone at ease who had never been rafting before.

Wife & I visited on 8/31/23 for their White Water Rafting experience and we had an absolute blast!!
We were at the tail end of the season so water was not as high as earlier in the year & rapids not as intense as some of the pics I see on their digital media presence but it was perfect conditions for two nearly 60 year olds.
If we still had young kids and lived in the area, I imagine we would be frequent visitors because they have so many actitivites to offer. Ropes course, zip lining, innertube lazy river type float trips, white water rafting, and sure there are even more options than what I mentioned here.
Facility is nestled at the base of Big Rock Candy Mountain...which surprised me because I never knew that children's song my kids used to sing was actually based on a real place.
As I mentioned before, the water was not real high but the rapids we experienced were perfect for us and were happy that the paddling was not constant and only needed when our guide directed us to do so.
Speaking of our guide, we feel lucky that Nathan just so happened to also be the owner of the company. He did a great job of educating two Mississippians about all the things that make Utah the uniquely beautiful place it is. There was lots of conversation & laughs between the 3 of us the whole journey which made our trip feel like it went by too fast.
We were also fortunate to have Lisa (Nathan's wife) randomly appearing on the river bank taking tons of photos that she gave us on a jump drive at the end of our trip (and yes, she does take great photos!!).
The entire staff is great to work with (especially Nathan & Lisa) and the facilities are great with a crew that obviously pays a lot of attention to the details needed to make their customer's experience a great one.
Highly recommend Big Rock Adventure to anyone looking for a fun outdoor adventure on the Sevier River & in the Big Rock Candy Mountain Resort area!!

I had a great experience! My guide Riley was super accommodating, explained and demonstrated all I needed to know. He constantly let me know what was coming and what to except and what was expected! The river was awesome and tons of fun! Worth the quick stop for 2 hours of river fun!
