We rented a pontoon boat and it was great. Everything was set up in advance and they were ready for us on the docks. Everybody was friendly and helpful and made our day very easy. There are bathrooms on the dock and you can pick up ice for your cooler or some cold drinks to take on the boat.

My favorite place to be. The staff are so helpful and nice. They are always willing to help or just give a smile. They make our trips to Flaming Gorge even better.

We were able to easily rent a great boat for a day on the gorge. It had a canopy for shade and was easy to operate.
Workers were super nice.
The Lucerne Grill is only open on the weekends.

Rented a houseboat with my family for 6 days, 9 people total. Ended up returning it a day early. Air conditioner didn't work, oven door wouldn't stay closed, coffee pot was broken, curtains were falling off their tracks, cooler leaked, engines kept dying. Even the fly swatter was broken! They only gave us enough propane to run the grill 5 times- 5 times in 6 days?? There were outlets all throughout the boat, but we were told we could only charge one cell phone at a time and had to get a great big LOUD generator in order to run a CPAP throughout the night. On top of that, we noticed the contract stated we would be charged a $45 cleaning fee if we returned the boat uncleaned. Since when are you responsible for cleaning a $3,000 hotel room(which is how much we paid to rent the boat)?

The houseboats are terrible! They are old and almost everything on ours was broken or in sub-par condition. The engines kept dying and thankfuly we had people aboard who knew how to fix them. For someone with no boat engine experience they would be dead in the water, literally! There was no depth finder, no fuel gauge, no gauges to tell us how full the septic and water tanks were, no compass and no map. It cost over $3000 to rent for 6 days and we still had to pay to fill the gas tanks when we returned. We were so tired of broken, run down things on the boat that we returned it a day early.

My family rented a houseboat for a week and little to nothing on the house boat worked. We were told the AC unit worked however there was no knob to turn it on. We were also told the power outlets would be able to handle everything we needed to plug in however the batteries for the boat would be dead every morning and we would have to use the boats jump box to start the boat. We ran out of propane for the grill on the third day. The fridge/freezer stopped working on day 4. There were spiders almost everywhere you went on the boat. The oven in the boat doesnt work. The only positive thing i have to say is that it at least floats.

Rented a couple of stand up paddle boards here; $130 for two seemed fair for 8 hours. Keep your eye on the weather: we had a squall kick up, but were in a secure spot, so we were fine. Enjoyed ice cream at the outdoor stand afterward.
