We got the passes that gave us entry to all the museums. We made it to Farm Country, the Butterfly Biosphere, Museum of Ancient Life, and Museum of Natural Curiosity. Our kids, ages, 14, 12, 9, 9, 9, all said it was the best day of our family vacation, which is high praise since we also did Lagoon and Hogle Zoo in the last few days!

Each museum was just the right size to enjoy without being overwhelmed. The Museum of Ancient Life (Dinosaur Museum) had world class exhibits. My 14 year old was engaged the entire time. Definitely worth the $!

Great place to see thousands of tulips. Winding paths travel through well designed flower beds. Easy walking of several miles of paths. Food trucks on site did run out on Sat evening.

Take the kids.

A standard in Utah county for years, this place offers lots of activities for kids and families. It is pricey unless you have the season pass or know someone with one. The butterfly sanctuary is a must! Restaurants and entertainment (pre-covid).

Sadly wouldn’t recommend going to thanksgiving point. The staff is insane! They will follow you around the entire exhibit forcing you to keep your mask up to your eye balls. While they allow max capacity and don’t enforce “social distancing.” Can we all wake up and realize this was never about our health.

This would be a cool experience outside of COVID, but otherwise it’s super crowded and unsafe in my opinion. They say it’s a “limited number of people to allow for social distancing,” but it seems it’s only limited to the number of tickets they can sell that night. Hordes of people, many of them not wearing masks.

I’m from California and wanted to see a few different sites on this trip, Thanksgiving point was one of them... immaculate grounds keeping, the waterfalls the bridge the legos throughout the park, the lake with the koi fish.. though what reaklly touched a cord with my heart, the statues garden. I cane describe in words how this touched my soul...

This place is a gem and it's huge! We had limited time so we visited the butterfly museum, which satisfied my inner child. Then we wandered around outside in the free areas and it was beautiful. I joked with my husband about getting married again in this location.

In addition to visiting the museums, gardens and several events, I have also hosted golf tournaments at the course with great success. The golf is gorgeous as are the venues and the staff are easy to work with. We saved money moving this event to Thanksgiving Point and the catering is terrific. Highly recommend!

We were taking pics and this lady pulled up and asked to see my pass and took it from me saying it was expired and that I needed a regular pass and a photo pass. There is no expiration date on my pass and she was incredibly rude. We all had a reg pass but she also said I'd have to pay for My niece who didn't have one.So we told her no thanks we'd just leave. Then she said we had to delete our pictures and would still have to pay for the time My niece was there which was a total of ten minutes. She was so unprofessional and rude about the entire thing. Asked for our full names and escorted us all the way out and insisted on us paying for the time we were there. I have never been treated so rudely anywhere as I have been here. She acted like I stole the pass and told me she doesn't know how I got it. This has made me never want to support this facility again. And to top it all off-the stupid photo pass only allows two people to come with you-which means you can't even take family pictures there unless you purchase multiple passes. I still can't believe how rude they were. I hope this keeps you from wasting your money at this facility because it is a rip off and the staff aren't kind on top of it.

We have been going to Thanksgiving Point for years and have been looking forward to this new attraction with high hopes it would be another educational and engaging place to take the kiddos. Our hopes were definitely not squashed (pun intended) and lived up to the Thanksgiving Point tradition. This attraction is much more than butterflies. With a variety of tarantulas and other creepy bugs from all over the world, there's something for all ages and bug-loving personalities. My favorite part of the Butterfly Biosphere is the thought that went into the creature habitats. They are positioned and set up so that you can actually see the animal. This is critical because most of them like to burrow and hide. I was delighted to actually see the scorpion even though it was tucked away in it's rock. And the tarantulas were visible from nearly any angle and large enough to view even with a lot of kids surrounding it. When the tarantulas move, it's quite the sight to see! Lots of props for photo ops and space to breathe even with a crowd. We went on a rainy, Friday afternoon and I expected to be among herds of people but parking was available and it didn't feel crowded in the facility. There is the coolest little library to sit and read or play with bug toys. Next to the library is a beautiful play area with a large slide and tot area. The attendants were interacting with the kids and I thought that was a personal touch more interactive facilities should add. There was a station set up where you could let a millipede crawl on your arm. The attendants have knowledge about and love for, their bug friends and it shows. The butterfly area itself is really educational and fun. Be warned, it's warm inside the bioshphere! No coats are allowed and strollers are parked before you go in as to keep the butterflies safe. There are a wide variety of butterflies. Tip: look UNDER the leaves to find many of them resting. Toddlers make great butterfly-spies as they look under leaves adults are too tall to see :) Don't miss the emergence gallery where you can see the process of caterpillar to butterfly! To top it all off, it's centrally located by the Deli so an ice cream treat is just a few steps away! Treat the kids to a soft served chocolate or berry swirl cone for about $1! Overall, the attention to details and experience are top notch and we will definitely be going back.
