My wife booked this event for our family of 6. I wasn't sure what to expect but looked forward to spending time with the family regardless. Parking was easy, we showed our tickets at the door and we got right in. The lights were diverse with many of them synced with music. My favorite part had to be the beautiful... More

There is seriously SO much to do here. My family has had an annual pass for years and I still haven't seen it. They are constantly updating and adding things to all the attractions. The gardens used to just be a summer thing, and they just turned it into a winter attraction with amazing lights! It's FAMILY FRIENDLY, and not... More

My kids (7, 9) didn't love the natural history museum, but then again, they aren't huge dinosaur buffs. The curiosity museum was more fun for them. For the price, I wasn't overly excited about it. The bottom line is if you have never been to a science center and/or your kids are in the 4-7 range, then it is worth... More

Luminaria is a new Christmas tradition at Thanksgiving Point. Ashton Gardens are beautiful in the spring, summer and fall and now add the Christmas season to the list. We started out walking out of the Visitor's Center and were greeted with a beautiful Luminaria show down the hill/Grand Allee complete with Christmas music. Our walk thru the Gardens, which was... My wife wanted something fun for the grandkids...let's go to the dinosaur museum. Gasp! I like digging up old bones, but my 4-year-old grandson? This is a great spot for young and old alike. I know a little, studied some in college, but this gives a all viewers something of interest to do. Grandkids loved! Granddad did too!

This is a very nice shopping area, shops and restaurants are adorable. They were celebrating Halloween on the weekend so the parking was a little difficult, need to go earlier.

Thanksgiving Point is actually run by a not for profit consortium that has designed experiences to stimulate family learning. From the dinosaur exhibits to the exploratorium, it is a wonderful, educational, fun place for any family to spend a day.

This was my first visit to the Ashton Gardens and I was pleasantly surprised at the beauty of this place. It's a good place to stretch your legs and feed your soul. If you're not into walking you can use a golf cart but there are some various benches throughout the gardens to rest.

This review is just for the new Light of Christ Statue Garden. It opened in Fall of 2016. There are 17 different events depicted in life size statues in well designed settings. There are multiple statues in most of the depictions. The statues are detailed, beautiful and bring reverent feelings as you contemplate the well known events that occurred in... More
