Just a pleasant, laid-back, simple, small-town type of museum.

Outside the smaller-sized older-town authentic building is a log cabin-type building. Right there near the museum is the community recreation area with a pool for all ages. And also the quaint old-town Main Street with its 100 year old buildings is just a few hundred steps away. A good place to see an historic Utah town with a easy stroll... More

If you're expecting the Smithsonian you'll be disappointed. But, if you're expecting a fantastically cozy, lovingly curated, local museum you're in for a treat! My friend and I spent 3 hours looking through the exhibits. We were the only ones there (we went on a blizzard-y Saturday afternoon) and loved it. In the front lobby there are some excellent displays... More

The museum is small but is jam packed full of things to see and has a lot of hands-on things for kids to do. I really enjoyed it and kinda starting geeking out about the history artifacts. Definitely a place I would revisit just to look at things a second time!

This is not the Smithsonian, nor is it a high-end institution. It is a historic, local-interest institution, so set your expectations accordingly. Now, with that said, it's a great place with lots of interesting exhibits. Just the perfect type of place for this community.

During my initial planning, we weren't originally planning on visiting this museum, but with the all inclusive package, it allowed us to enjoy the museum. Our grandson loved the dinosaurs in water table and even digging for dinosaur bones in the digging room.

A great place to take the kids or a youth group. They have worked hard to make the museum educational and fun.

For the price, this is a great venue. When you need a stop or short activity that will create lasting memories, stop here! I lived here three years before stopping into this venue --WOW was I shocked at the display. Kids can get really close to both bones and artifacts.

Due to the Lehi Round Up parade seeing this museum closed for some of the day admission was half price ($2) so we thought this visit to be great value. I always like learning about the unique personality of a town and despite the fact that Lehi 2016 is a friendly happy place apparently it was quite the wild location... More

Our family of 4 got in for $14. I was skeptical when we pulled up and saw how small the building was, but everybody enjoyed the visit to the John Hutchings museum. It has a variety of exhibits ranging from war veterans to rocks & minerals to dinosaur fossils to local 1800's legends such as Porter Rockwell. The exhibits had... More
