My wife and I set out for Peekaboo slot canyon, only to realize the 10 mile walk in and out through loose sand well exceeded our limitations. We considered driving our SUV in, but thought better of it when we saw folks deflating their tires for the trip though sand. Got on the phone with several tour companies, and 1/2 hour later we were on a rugged ATV with Expedition Kanab, flying over the sand track. Passed several stuck SUVs, so thankful for that choice! Canyon was spectacular, guide was knowledgeable and personable, cost was reasonable. 5-stars all the way.

We had an amazing experience! Dave was our guide and he was great! I would recommend spending the extra money for a private tour and drive your own vehicle. Really enhances the tour. I would highly recommend the The Peekaboo + Great Chamber Loop tour.

We had a really good experience working with Expedition Kanab right from the start (booking process) to the end (ATV trip to the Great Chamber). Kayli, who helped us with the booking process, was super patient and talking through flexible options. Expedition Kanab was able to help customize our trip. Full transparency, other companies did not have flexible options, at least the ones I reached out to.
Our guide, Dave was very fun and casual and gave us amazing experience driving ATV to the Great Chamber. He was easy going and flexible and gave us enough time at the location to take photos and enjoy the Great Chamber (its really beautiful).
I would definitely recommend Expedition Kanab for flexible tour options. They also have standard tour options.

We hired a guided hike to the Wave from these folks. The guide was Raymond. He picked us up at our VRBO, then proceeded to the trailhead. The road to the trailhead was very nearly impassable, even for 4x4 vehicles. Raymond was very experienced handling the terrain. The previous day the road had kicked up dust. 24 hrs later it was deep, deep mud. Our group consisted of three 60+ year old hikers and one marathon runner. Raymond crafted our path to and from the Wave with great expertise, patience, knowledge of the area, and quiet dignity. We experienced sleet, high buffering winds, snow, and beautiful warm sunshine that cycled every 20 minutes. And at the end of the day, our last mile was trekked in a full whiteout. Cannot say how glad we were to have made the decision to hire these folks. When we left the Wave itself, the distant visual markers were in a mist so dense if we’d not had Raymond to show us the way, we would have had to rely on GPS coordinates to proceed on our own. We found the price for Raymond’s expertise, and a vehicle, to be comparable to just renting a Jeep. To go with this company instead of renting the Jeep to drive ourselves in was easily one of the best decisions we ever made. “Thank you” Expedition Kanab, for a stellar experience!!! And “Thank You” Raymond for your patience and for sharing your beautiful heart with us!

Our trip was wonderful. We had Darren for a guide, and he was very knowledgeable without being intrusive, let us enjoy the beauty and wonder of Peekaboo Canyon at our own pace, but was always close if we had questions. All the people I interacted with at the business were friendly, helpful and efficient. The major reason I chose this company over all the other tour companies in Kanab was because we had a group, and they were the only ones who discounted for group numbers. Every other tour company charged the same per person, no matter if you just had 1 or 10.

Expedition Kanab is a new start-up in Kanab, UT. We booked an ATV outing for Saturday with two days notice for 3 hours riding two ATVs in the desert and a walking tour of the Peek-A-Boo slot canyon. Our guide grew up in Kanab and shared his knowledge of the area and the slot canyon. The is a small operation, but provides a personalized and casual service which we appreciated.

This was an unexpected gem of a tour! We lucked out and got 2 guides for the price of one. Rhees Jackson was our tour guide and his father, Lance, who has also been guiding for a number of years, joined us. Their information about the formation of the Peeka Boo slot canyon was fascinating and the trip with a short uphill hike to the Great Chamber was well worth the effort. The photo opportunities at both locations were fantastic! I would highly recommend Expedition Kanab should your travel plans include an off road guided tour of the area.

This excursion was amazing. This wasn't on our initial itinerary but our Airbnb host mentioned Expedition Kanab so we made a game time decision to book a tour for that afternoon. The experience was great from beginning to end. We booked over the phone and the woman I spoke with was very kind and accommodating. We ended up driving to the wrong location (my fault for not reading the email carefully) and the person who called me back was also very kind and helpful. Josh was our tour guide and he was great. He made sure we had everything we needed (including water). He also gave us some history of the area and told about us about some of the local communities which we appreciated learning about. He took fantastic photos both at the Great Chamber and at Peek-a-boo slot canyon. Both sites were stunning and we're so glad we decided to check them out. We had a great time!

We made a side trip to Moqui cave museum and met Rhees who was very accommodating and patiently communicated through text messages. My son is allergic to a lot of stuff and long hike would be an issue due to his asthma. Rhees made a customized tour for us so we could at least see a part of Kanab’s beauty. We enjoyed the ATV ride, the caves, rock formations, and canyons. We will be back and surely will book another trip with them.

Loved loved loved our ride! Dave was an awesome guide and he was so great with our 9 and 13 year old kids. He was also really great at taking pictures with our phones and we got some great family photos. We are doing a full week of the national parks of Utah - from Zion to Moab and I know the UTV ride will be one of the highlights of our trip!
