Very fun park, close-ish to Zion. The sand dunes are beautiful, fun to explore and to sled or board down! Camping here was great too, nice showers, quiet and very helpful staff. Would definitely stay again.

If you haven't ever been to the desert or a beach, this would be great fun. The sand is pinkish, but honestly looks like pretty much most desert environs/beaches we've seen. If you want awesome, go to White Sands in New Mexico, or Great Sand...More

You feel that you can get lost amidst the dunes as if in a movie about the Sahara. But, one is never that far from a road. Plus the quiet is generally shattered by the numerous ATV's and dune buggies careering everywhere. It is a...More

This State Park has views of amazing sand dunes we've never seen before. There is a viewing area where you can sit somewhat protected from the wind. I'm sure the colors change constantly depending on the weather. Just a nice place to sit and enjoy....More

Not far off the main road, this place is certainly worth the visit. You can actually walk out on the dunes and if you have the right lighting you can get some real cool photos of the the shadow play on the dunes.

This was an unexpected surprise. The coral sand is soft and beautiful You can walk for miles on the sand. At sunset the sand looks more pink. It was worth the 20 mile detour from the highway. Close to Zion national park

A bit of a drive after turning off the main road. If you are in the area and have the time go see them but I wouldn't suggest going to the area just to see the dunes.

No, not located there. Most rental companies/guides are out of Kanab and will meet you at the entrance of the park. Our guide finished with a group and waited an hour for us to arrive for our tour. Note there is no... More
