Everything about this adventure was first class from the booking to the sunset. We were greated by Dave and that’s when all the fun began. He was funny, informative and most of all dedicated to providing us with a great safe experience. Dave lead us all around the desert and showed us many attractions. Always willing to take a picture and give us snacks and cold water. Man was it hot that day. The CanAm 4 person UTV was in great shape and made for a fun and comfortable ride. We will definitely recommend ATV and Jeep Adventure Tours to anyone who is looking for an amazing time in that area. We are looking forward to returning for more adventures!

Yes, Dave is an amazing adventure tour guide!! We maintain all of our equipment in top notch shape because we want our guests to be riding the best possible machines. There is nowhere better to get the views and the incredible scenery then on top of Sand Mountain in Sand Hollow State Park.

I booked the 4 hour sunset ATV adventure as a surprise for my boyfriend for our 4 year dating anniversary, and little did I know he was planning a proposal! So it turned into an engagement celebration and this company made it so special!!
First off, we were the only two who booked ATVs for this night, so we basically got a private tour! It was so amazing that they didn’t cancel on us because I know they could have. Second, our guide, Mark, was beyond AMAZING! Such a sweet guy, and he totally customized the tour to our needs. He started off slow since I was a beginner and slowly built my confidence up. He’d stop every once in a while to check in, share some awesome facts about the area and ask what we liked best. The last hour or so we spent flying around the most epic sand dunes, and it seriously could not have been more fun!
We saw so many different landscapes, and the sun setting over the lake was gorgeous! Mark took pictures for us every time we stopped somewhere cool and was just the best sport.
To top it off, when I called to book this tour, they asked if we were celebrating anything special. When I said yes, they got a little gift together for us for our anniversary! The sweetest little tube of sand to remember our amazing experience and a personalized card. Honestly, this tour is worth every. single. penny and then some!! You will not regret booking this adventure and you can know you are supporting a company full of sweet people!!

We love sharing our backyard with everyone but especially with families. Family time can be so limited now a days that anytime we can help a anyone make life long memories is very special to all of us.
Mark is a very special person and a great adventure tour guide. He will be so happy to see this review.
We love to help our guests celebrate any special occasion and I am so glad you loved our gift to you!

My friend and I did a handful of scheduled activities while visiting Southern Utah and this was by far our favorite experience! Our tour guide was so nice, well informed, prepared and accommodating. When we arrived they had sunglasses, goggles, a mask/face covering (for wind/sand), helmet and gloves. The tour guide had a cooler packed with water and snacks. We stopped a few times to take in the scenery, stay hydrated, fuel up, learn about the surrounding nature and history and of course to use the restrooms. We would highly recommend this to anyone considering an ATV ride, you’ll have a first class experience!!

We had a guide, Kerry, and he was fantastic. If we just rented biked and rode around ourselves, we would not have had so much fun because we would not have ventured so far. Kerry knew the area and talked about the area when we made stops to rest and take pictures. It was a perfect day for riding, not too hot and my husband, son and I ended up with a private tour because no one else booked that day. The bikes were in good shape and we had no trouble handling them for the 4 hour tour.

We tell people everyday that they can just go rent an ATV or UTV but that it won't be as much fun as an adventure tour. All of our guides know all the special places to take our guests, the best part of the massive sand dunes to ride on, the best places for photos and you don't get that with just a rental.

We did the sunset dune tour and had a total blast! No surprise it was hot in July, and the cold water they provided was great, as were the snacks (we have kids, so of course the snacks were a hit). We had a parent fail and did not bring Dramamine for our seven year old whose motion sickness seems to be peaking right now. She was truly miserable for about an hour and a half, so if you have someone prone to getting carsick, bring whatever can help make them comfortable. I know the Dramamine would have worked. The other two and a half hours of the trip, she had the very best time...yelling to go faster, arms up like a roller coaster, etc. Our guide was very concerned about how she was doing and let us stop a little longer in the hopes that she would improve. What did eventually perk her up was a fabulous extended stop where everyone could scramble on some rocks. Our UTV for six was great, and my husband felt very confident that it could easily handle everything we did.

We booked the 4 hour sunset ATV tour and were guided by the very friendly and knowledgable Moe. The experience was one of the best experiences I've ever had. Moe expertly took us through all types of terrains while giving us a guided tour along the way.
He taught everyone best practices for riding the ATVs and it made the experience that much more enjoyable. The views that we saw along the way were so stunning. Cannot recommend the sunset tour enough. Riding on the sand dunes was so amazing we almost booked another trip the next day!
I cannot recommend this excursion enough and highly highly recommend Moe the tour guide!

We had Nagel as our guide and he was great. The area was so much fun to explore with the ATVs and they showed us some cool spots. However, with the price we paid we were expecting to be able to ride more than what we actually did. In the future, maybe it would be better to communicate with the groups to ask how much time they would like to spend riding vs stopping for breaks. Towards the end of the tour it felt like we would do 5 minutes of riding followed by a 15-20 minute break, 10 minutes of riding, 30 minute break, etc. every group is different based off what they would like to do (I’m sure some people want to spend more time taking pictures vs riding) but that was not the case with us. I could overhear another guide saying that we weren’t going to be able to go very far during our tour because we were lumped in with a large group of tourists who did not seem to have an interest in riding for very long. Also, the amount of bathroom breaks was excessive. Ask the group if they need to stop, because otherwise we were just sitting there twiddling our thumbs when we could’ve been riding and taking in more of the scenery. Overall still a good experience but could’ve been better with more communication regarding what was to be expected in terms of actual ride time.

Hi Tim, thank you for giving your honest feedback. We do make makes more stops in the middle of June because of the heat. We want to make sure everyone is hydrated and the ATV's are not overworked. On our Half Day 4-hour Sunset Adventure you are riding approx. 3 to 3.15 hours. And yes, there are 2 bathrooms on Sand Mountain that we do stop at for the entire group. I am glad you still had a great time exploring Sand Mountain but I might suggest booking a private tour for you and Kristyn instead of a group tour.

Our 2nd tour with this company. This time we booked the sunset tour in a UTV. We are experienced UTV drivers, we own several. We were worried we would be bored like a couple other reviewers said. I have to tell you I don't think those that said they drove slow and were bored even took this tour! We drove at a comfortable speed thru the different terrain and got to let lose with a bit more speed in the sand dunes. Every person on our tour was so happy they chose this company and had a fantastic time! One couple told us that they had booked a tour before but due to Covid had to call and cancel just 4 days before their tour and how shocked they were that their money was refunded with no problems and they were treated so pleasantly by the manager, aka Cindy. They said they rebooked with this company because of how great they were treated. Everyone with this company is nothing short of amazing. Every person on our tour did nothing but rave about how nice and helpful everyone was and what a great time they had. You will not be disappointed!
Our entire group just had such a great experience with this company and a FANTASTIC time with our tour guide, Dave. We will be back again this winter and hope to find snow on top of the mountain.
I am sorry but when you see so many fantastic reviews and then a couple negative ones you have to wonder if the negative ones are from a disgruntled competitor tour company or just from someone that will never be happy no matter what others do for them.

We booked a tour and based on guidance from local state park officials, canceled because of forest fires. We were told by Cindy that if she booked the reservation in the next week we would receive a full refund. She did not cancel the reservation and therefore did not release it to be booked by someone else. She then became very agitated and aggressive on the phone, refusing to give us a refund and refusing to allow us to speak to the supervisor. We were very taken aback, as we have never experienced such a hostile and unprofessional person with any business.

We appreciate every review we receive, including the rare negative review. We treat every review as a learning experience. We have a cancellation policy in place for several reasons and if an emergency arises we are often quite flexible with that policy. If there was smoke from the fires in California in our area, which there is not, and had been told that Megan had a severe allergy to forest fire smoke then we would have refunded your tour with no problem. We did offer to try and book the machines that you had reserved for a holiday week but unfortunately were not able to do so as it was a weekday and not on the weekend.
I am sorry if you feel we have poor customer service because our employees will disconnect a call when they are being screamed at, called a liar or called obscene names. The vast majority of our guests will tell you we have excellent customer service and go above and beyond to help every one of our guests have a great vacation in Southern Utah.
It was great to hear that you and Ryon were enjoying your vacation in different area and we do hope that you chose to visit Utah at another time.

We did the full day adventure tour and it was worth every penny!
Having zero ATV experience, our tour guide Cary ensured everyone's safety and made sure we felt comfortable and confident driving these machines. By the end of the tour, I felt like an expert driver driving efficiently up and down the sand dunes.
Cary was a wonderful and knowledgeable tour guide. He took us to beautiful scenery from Sand Hollow State Park. We visited Jurassic Park and felt like we were world's away! If you're considering doing this tour, keep in mind the summer is extremely hot. All in all, this was a great experience. I left with zero complaints and hope to return in the fall.

Jurassic Park is such an extraordinary area. We hope to ride with you again soon. Many people think that they can not ride an ATV, but with our guides instructions and utilizing a progressive trail system you learn to ride quite well. By the time you are done riding you have challenged yourself without even knowing it.

My wife and I stayed in St. George at the Inn at Entrada . St. George is a pretty big town so you should have no problem finding somewhere to stay. The ATV and Jeep Tours are about 12 miles outside of St. George. We did a 3 hour sunset tour and the machine we choose was Razor ATV. Its a 4 seat dune buggy looking thing. My wife did not want to drive so we thought that was the best one for her. Our tour guide was great and he stopped at some scenic locations for pictures.

The cost of the ride depends on what machines you take out, the ages of those in your party and the length of the tour you chose. We have morning and evening tours during the summer and in the spring and fall we add an afternoon tour. Again the start time depends on the length of tour you choose. We require long pants and close toed shoes. We provide the use of the machines, helmets, eye protection, gloves, ice cold bottled water and snacks and of course our certified tour guides.
