I live out of state but have snowboarded at Snow Basin. This visit there was no snow and I had my mountain bike so I explored ride a bike instead of a board. Lots of trails, many of them loops and well maintained. Make sure you explore off the Old Snow Basin road. Go to the Snow Basin web site... More

Great resort even though it didn't snow once while i was there it still had a mass of runs, could not have got havegot bored at any point. The sceney was also spectacular and the lodges were lovely with a great atmosphere and food. The people thercould not have been faulted, so polite and cheerful. Wantingto go again now

I had a great time skiing here in March 2014 with my ski club. Its a great ski mountain with an efficient lift system. Its similiar to SB/Alta with a lot less people. Snowbasin is owned by Sun Valley resorts so the lodges are very nice & the food is excellent. SB is an unknown gem not frequented like SB/... More

My first time on a snowboard was this past Friday. Although the conditions in Utah haven't been favorable this year, I picked up snowboarding in 1/2 day thanks to some excellent instruction from Mike. If you are attempting to snowboard (or ski) for the first time, Snowbasin is a great place to learn due to the quality of instruction and... More

We have been going to Snowbasin since 1995 and have watched it evolve into a world class ski area. We loved it when it was simple A-frame lodge but we are not disappointed at all with the fabulous new lodges dotting the mountain. The food is top notch and portions ample-ski area prices but better and more food! The ski... More

Snowbasin is conveniently located just 1 hour and 15 minutes north of Park City. While it's not next door, it is close enough to make a trip and completely worth waking up an hour early to make it to the slopes by the time they open. Due to its distance from Park City, it was significantly less crowded. Snowbasin was... More

We love Snowbasin! Having skied many of the Salt Lake area resorts, they are at the top of our list. No crowds, lower ticket prices (buy online ahead of time), courteous staff, amazing lodges. Would like to see an area for brown baggers at each lodge, we felt somewhat unwelcomed due to signage.

I went on a tip from the local that snow basin was the best, I was not disappointed I will always return there it was unbelievable. Unbelievable lodges own by Sun Valley resort very high standard. It's very clear this mountain was updated for the 2002 Olympics. The lodges are large and modern. There are multiple gondolas, and even a cool mini-gondola to go up to the Olympic Downhill Start Houses. There is plenty of terrain to keep experts busy, and a great beginner area at the base for learning. The one thing to be aware... More

We've came here to ski a few days on our way to ski in Colorado for a week. Nice resort that I did not know about and I have skied a lot of resorts in many states and including BC Canada. This place is a gem that the locals do not want you to know about. They would like to... More
