The Wasatch Mountain Range is breathtaking. Best campground view I've ever seen all over the US. We stayed at Chokecherry Campground within the State Park Service. Reservoir is beautiful as well. The water looked a little murky though. I was checking out the mountain views though. Amazing sunrise and sunset views. Nice picnic areas as well.

This is a great little lake with rentals available for adding to your adventure. Parking and day use is easy access. It's not too cold, even in Oct. folks were still paddle boarding and sailing.

Just drive around this lake and enjoy the breathtaking views. Pull off to take photos. It costs $10 to drive down to the boat ramp but if you tell them at the gate you are just taking pictures they will give you a 20 min free pass. There were guys on boards with sails flying across the lake.

The first thing you need to know is that the beaches are very rocky so probably not the place for older children. Also not the place if you are a serious swimmer as there seemed to be no control over the boat area. Pleasant enough place to spend a couple of hours if you are in the area but I... More

$15 a day for Rocky beaches, Beer cans and water bottles everywhere? Absolutely Awful. AVOID THIS NASTY PLACE AT ALL COST. Tried to take my young child in the water on rubber kayaks and all the speed boats and jet skis create huge waves that destroy the beach fun. Management doesn't even attempt to clean anything. No porta potty's here... More

If you have a boat and like to fish or other water sports, it's a great place to go during the week. On the weekends or holidays, it's insanely over crowded. Same applies for shore fishing or using the picnic areas. Go during the week. Rainbow Bay picnic areas besides the group facility is in poor shape. Obviously the state... More

I usually don't complain about parks or their bathrooms but omg!! When I pay 15$ to use a lake for a few he's on our boat I would thing there would be a toilet to use not coverered in poop. There was poppy toilet paper all over the floor , the one stall looked like someone just pooped on the... More

Drove up to Heber City area to enjoy the views and the wildlife. Saw historic buildings, sand hill cranes, ospreys, and Mount Timpanogos. Love all the spring flowers. Worth the time and the drive.

Located between Jordanelle and Utah Lake on the Provo River drainage, Deer Creek is a nice sized lake with clean water. It does freeze over in the winter with good ice fishing, but that also means the water is pretty cold in the Spring. Water is usually smoothest in the mornings or evenings, can get pretty windy in the mid... More
