It was a hot day and we decided to stop here alongside the lake and get some of the breeze blowing in. The locals and tourists were enjoying their picnics and we really loved our Raspberry ice-cream. It was very refreshing. Try it.

Cool breezes at later times I the day but beautiful clear sky and great clean water. The water level is up so short and I mean short to the beaches. Go early for a good spot on the holiday. Really Fun. Could be a good...More

Rented a boat and played on the lake all day. This lake is massive and you feel like you are but yourself. They have great shore lines for families to stop and play.

Great campground. Hookup or non hookup sites available. Group area available for large families. Just walk down the path to the lake. Large sandy beach, family friendly, waterskiing, boating, fishing and more!

A very nice beach with nice facilities. You pay a small entry fee to get in. The water is cool but clean, nice and refreshing. You can find some nice restaurants in the vicinity.

If you're wanting a sandy beach- this is NOT the place to go, this is more of a pebble beach, but the boat rentals make this place a fun place. The staff is nice as well.

The view was spectacular, but you couldn't really appreciate the lake itself when you finally got up close to it.

We stayed at KOA Garden city. Lots of shade and activities but wouldn't say beauty. It was very clean and well kept and convenient to the city.

We saw dogs on the beach on the south end of the lake but they are not allowed on North Beach In the state park.
