Part of the Northrop Grumman facility. It’s right infront of their main office building facing Hwy 83. Features a wide variety of displayed rockets (some of which were used for the space shuttle). Many of the displays have plaques that explain the different rockets. The area is free and open year round accessible via a walkway from the Northrop office parking lot.
It’s about a 45 min round trip drive coming from Brigham City or Tremonton freeway exit with nothing in-between. If going there from Tremonton be aware that W Faust Valley Rd is fairly steep in areas and would be difficult to traverse in winter conditions or with trailers. Also during summer time the grass field between the garden and Hwy is a nesting ground for mosquitoes that can plague the garden during warmer times of the year.

If you are going to the Golden Spike NHP, this is definitely worth a very short side trip if you are at all interested in space. We were very impressed with the number of displays here. Numerous smaller displays of test motors, boosters, etc. But also a Peacekeeper, Minuteman and Space Shuttle! Glad we made the stop.

It is a cool side trip if you are in the area. It is smaller than I expected, but the plaques were informative, and interesting to see the size of some the rockets. i wouldn't make the trip just for this, though, just if you are already in the area (ie. spiral jetty or golden spike)

We did not even know this existed, we passed it on the way to the Golden Spike National monument and by the time we returned it was too late to visit. Being from Florida I wished we would have known about this option, looked interesting.

Just right down from Golden Spike national park so if you go to that one you got to drive by. It’s free sort of a little bonus some great plaques that describe the Rockets and their functions

My wife did not tell us about this beforehand so daughter and myself were surprised to see some rockets in the middle of nowhere. There is also a geocache on location so if you are visiting the Golden Spike this is a neat little place to stop if someone in your party is interested in rockets.

This display was roughly a mile from the turn off to The Golden Spike National Park. We did a quick walk through. Every Rocket and various Components were labeled with placards describing what they were and function. Site is in front of Northrop Grumman building. I was more enthusiastic about the quick stop than my 2 teenagers.

If you go to the Golden Spike National Historic Site, swing by the ATK Rocket Garden. It is the closest you’ll ever get to some of these rockets.

As others have said it's a ways off the highway but worth it since you can stop here on your way to the Golden Spike Railroad Museum. The exhibit is free and self guided. This exhibit gives you a second reason to make the bit of a drive off the highway. If you're going South toward Salt Lake City, the cutoff is not well marked so watch for it. If you miss it it's worth turning around for. Its a two lane road to the facility and the road continues on past the facility. When I drove up to the facility they were testing three rocket motors and I was lucky enough to just catch that happening. Even from a few miles away it was like seeing three huge welder's torches burning. Amazing to say the least. A bit further on is the small rocket park exhibit. It's small and very informative. Each rocket motor has it's own plaque with information about that particular model. they even have a solid rocket booster from the space shuttle. You can spend an hour or so and maybe a bit more if you take a few minutes on one of the benches to enjoy the peace and quiet and the view across the valley. It's not well visited which is too bad but I figure it's the drive that dissuades most people. Trust me, if you have some extra time it's worth the trip. The parking lot would not be good for an RV although you may have parking room next to the facility near the entrance.

A group of us drove here in our Model A Fords. Mind-boggling contrast - our 1930 cars parked next to space rockets! You walk among them, read the descriptions, and are awed by what you see. This is a well-done, free display.
