This is a beautiful park from what we seen. It was a rainy day so we didn't do any hikes so we could have given this park a higher rating.definitely give this park more time than we did.

We stayed one night at this wonderful campground in this beautful park. The next morning we went for a nice walk with great views. We really liked it!

Kodachrome Basin is an excellent place to stay when visiting the area. The facilities are very nice. I camped for three nights and enjoyed my stay. Tent campers should target the Bryce View campground with its 12 sites. It has good shade and tent pads with picnic table and fire ring; there is one well-kept pit latrine that even has... More

I almost hesitated writing this review because I love the Kodachrome Basin State Park campgrounds. They are the best kept I have ever seen. The restrooms are kept immaculate. They have showers (also super clean) for campers to use. The water is hot and the showers are wonderful after a day of hiking and exploring. One helpful thing I would... More

We got lucky and got in here over the 4th of July weekend. The sites are full hookup, beyond spacious, all asphalt and a large area for picnic table and barbecue. Nicely landscaped, besides the gorgeous landscaping that Mother Nature did in the first place. This was the nicest and most beautiful state park we ever camped in, all for... More

Couldn't get in at Zion or Brice due to overcrowding. No sites available. Went to Kodachrome as a backup and was pleasantly surprised. Great facility with plenty of space between campsites. Also, has hot showers. A very well managed campground. Would definitely return.

Stayed at beautiful Kodachrome basin State Park Basin Campground for a couple of nights in July. Daytime Temps reached near 90 but night time temps were in the upper 40s to low 50s. Perfect weather for sightseeing by day and sleeping by night. Campground was about 30 minutes from Bryce Canyon National Park and was very conveniently located. We also... More

This is a relatively short drive from Bryce Canyon. The views are beautiful...and yes, different from what you see at Bryce. The park has many unpaved roads, and they close them in heavy rain. Trail heads are clearly marked and are explained very clearly on the map. It is so quiet here.....you can truly appreciate nature.

You will need to go through Cannonville to get there. It's worth the visit. The trails aren't too long. The views are like all other views in this area, phenomenal. It is also diverse like all the rest of southeast Utah. They have camping and a small gift shop/visitor center. Some of the trails are not close to the main... More
