I had spoken with Mary at the visitors center in Monticello before coming to Utah on vacation. She was most helpful and sent me information on the area. When I stopped in for a visit during vacation I was greeted warmly. Mary told me about the Historical Walking Tour of Monticello and about the good places to eat. She opened... More

The staff here in the Blanding Visitors Centre are very helpful and knowledgeable about the local area and attractions. It is a good ideal to call in here as soon as you reach town.

We have visited many visitor centers over the years but this one stands out for its historical value. Very nice presentation and stories of the settlers of that area. Great photos and artifacts not to mention the very nice and informative gentlemen who answered our many questions and directed us to a nice walking area right outside of town.

So it's 8 am on Sunday and the center isn't open yet, but a gentleman sees us in the parking lot and asks if we need anything! He opened the center for us to get maps, and had some interesting things to say about the area. He was a native, and his mom moved there when it was first settled... More

We are so glad we went to the Visitor's Center before venturing out to explore the area. The lady at the visitor's center was so energetic and genuinely excited about all there was to do and see; she was extremely knowledgeable and helped us plan our visit according to the things we love to do. We can't say enough good... More

A very nice and tastefully done museum that was free. The restrooms are clean and large. The woman behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. She had been to the places we had planned on going so could give us her opinion and helpful tips.

For us it was a comfort stop and we were pleasantly surprised by the historical and nature displays inside! I got a brochure of etiquette in visiting sacred pictogram sites and we were offered glorious posters of attractions in the area! The employee there went all out to edify our visit to natural bridges national monument, even more so than... More

We stopped at the Blanding Visitor center to get directions to a hiking trip we wanted to take. They gave us great directions. The restroom was clean. The center had lots of memorabilia from the Native Americans & crafty items for sale. The attendants were very friendly.

This is a clean, easy to get to off the highway, interesting little place to stop for a break or just get information about the area. It has a little museum of the early Mormon pioneers there and also a little store with postcards and maps and souveniers. Plus, for those with electric cars, it has a Telsa station on... More
