the science for each exhibit were perfect in pointing out why it was important where it was found. The expert here makes a very good case on why the popular story about dinosaurs evolving into birds is not true. I sure bought it. I was surprised how much I enjoyed this museum. It really tried to teach. It may get... More

This was a fun museum with good exhibits. The museum is unique because it has not just dinosaurs and facts about them, but also has pop culture about dinosaurs and how they made movies with them. My favorite was the hundreds of movie posters from dinosaur/"monster" movies.

This is not your typical tourist trap of a museum, it is very inexpensive but full of interesting information. There are lots of dinosaur bones and dinosaur movie memorabilia. This was a nice stop for us in between national parks. If you have dinosaur fans in your family it is well worth a stop.

The Dinosaur Museum in Blanding was a planned visit on our way down to the Grand Canyon, and it was well worth the stop. The guide book said to allow one hour, but they have added a whole other wing of exhibits since then. Relax, see it all. It was a really interesting stop for us. They have some highly... More

First thing I noticed was the price. It only cost my family $11 where as the new Dino Museum North of Moab wants $60. This is a concrete building which didn't appear to have any ventilation. Lots of osculating fans were placed around inside. There are some things there I've never seen in any other museum. Mind you I haven't... More

This is a gem of a museum for children and for adults. Was fascinated by the meteor, the billion year old petrified tree, and the only exhibit in the nation of a whole dinosaur that was mummified BEFORE it was petrified. You could see skin and ligaments intact. Unbelievable! They also had an extensive exhibit of movie memorabilia--lots of old... More

This is a hidden gem in a land full of them. After the kids have seen hours of monoliths, landscapes, and other things we wanted to see, our 4yo saw a sign with dinosaurs. We decided to go and it was incredible. The staff, Tracy, enthusiastically gave us a tour and educated us un everything from a 4.5b year old... More

I read previous reviews about the museum and visited it with our 7 year old grandson. This was quite an adventure for the little ones which will keep their interest. The models and exhibits kept his interest for over an hour. Great prices for the family. The young lady there answered our questions with enthusiasm.

Definitely worth a quick visit. Absorb as much as you can. If you are lucky the very knowledgeable staff will peak your interest with extra information. Can do this along with The Edge of The Cedars State Park and The Cedar Mesa Pottery in a day, taking a break from the incredible parks.

We stopped here to break up a long day of driving (and after reading a favorable review from AAA). Our only regret was only having one hour to spend in this fantastic museum. Exhibits were very well done; lots of full reproductions of skeletons. What sets this dino museum apart from the rest is the large room devoted to dinosaurs... More
