A lovely little pocket park located on Waco Lake in the town of Woodway just a few miles from downtown Waco. Use GPS to locate because you have to drive through a subdivision to get to it. The disc golf is not a game I've...More
This is certainly not a "beautiful park" in the sense of nearby, stunningly beautiful Cameron Park, but does have an excellent disc golf course that various members of our family frequent. There are good views of the lake, and some areas with pavilions and shaded...More

I am not a not a fisherman but as far as I know, there is one area in Park I (there is a Park I and Park II) where a boat can be launched. I have seen very few people fishing from the park shoreline in Park 1 or Park II. There is a third section of the park with excellent parking and a large bit of shoreline that folk fish from. I have no idea of the success that they have had.
