The hole itself is stunningly beautiful, and the park has a great network of trails to walk. Nature at its finest!

Located off the road in Wimberley it is a nice place to take the kids on a hot day. If the water level is up it is very relaxing. Make sure the kids our out of the water during stormy conditions- water will rise.

Rope swing into Cypress Creek, swim, relax, this is one great spot during the summer months. Lots of trails for hiking and cycling.

Blue Hole is a serene little space for a quick getaway. Great place to picnic, wade in the crystal clear stream or just admire nature. It's an easy hike from the parking lot too. Just minutes from downtown Wimberley, Texas where you can find all...More

A wonderful place to stop in - but it gets crowded. Read up on reservations needed - sometimes even if you do not want to swim.

Beautiful place! The waters of the river are clean and definitely a place I would like to visit during the 100 degree Texas summers. The walking paths/trails are easy to moderate in difficulty and are good in size and marked clearly. Just note that dogs...More

It is not far at all, just down a small hill on an easy path from the gate/ticket office--it's probably less than 100yards to the water from the gate house--which is next to the parking lot.

Yes. They just wont let you go down to the swim area. There are trails, playgrounds, etc. in the other areas.
