I've been visiting Wimberley for years and had never been to the park. There is so much more than just the swimming hole, but that's what we went there for. We needed to take the Grand Kids somewhere and entertain them a bit, and I...More

A really fun time for kids! The water is cool and the bottom is rocky so bring your water shoes! This place has become a tradition in our family for a picnic and a day of swinging out and dropping into the cool water on...More

Modern facilities with well marked and maintained trails. Hikes are easy. The swimming hole is picturesque, with incredibly clear water.

We spent a long weekend in Wimberley in May. We were basically the only ones in the park. Fun stroll . I'm sure it's crazy in the summer with swimmers but if you go off season, you won't be disappointed !

This was a beautiful location with trails that were nicely maintained. I saw several wildflowers and my favorite shrub was the dwarf red buckeye. It was Springtime and there were no crowds, but quite a few walkers. My only issue was my own fault, I...More

We drove down from Dripping Springs and I'm so glad we did. It was lovely! We went on the off season so we didn't have to pay. The whole experience is gorgeous. We went along the water, then took the trails at the top. I...More
