We had a large group of friends celebrating a birthday and the zipline was part of the celebration. We had the best time! Some in our group were very nervous and our guides - Mark, Noah and McKenzie - were terrific in helping them feel safe and at ease. They also clearly enjoyed their jobs and had a great sense of humor making the experience even more fun. Ten ziplines over the beautiful area of the hill country is definitely worth your time!

Such a great time! We had a fun group and Hunter + Geo were great leaders. You felt very safe + taken care while getting a hefty side of their well crafted comedy routine. The views were stunning and it had a great balance of lines. It was worth every penny!

Wimberly Ziplining was so much fun for our adult family of five! The tour guides knew what they were doing and were fun to hang out with. The 2 hour event starts off with fitting of the harness, helmet and gloves. Then you get a brief instruction on the do’s and don’ts with a mini trial run. After that, your group gets a rocky ride to the start of the 10 rides. After a short uphill hike to the first line, it’s time for the first run! Our group of 11 people included folks of varying athletic abilities and all did very well on the lines! Easy and so much fun. Drinking water is provided. Moving from one line to the next was pretty easy with very short hikes. Everyone should do this event if you want a few hours of fun and excitement while in the Wimberly area! A shout out to Hunter, Dane and Gio for making the guided tour the best it could be. 5 stars all around.

There were 10 zip lines, between 8 seconds and 45 seconds. Some above the trees, some below the trees. Wow!
While up on the zip line trail, a young male employee (employee #1) decided the safety straps needed to be "adjusted". Of note, the safety straps were placed on me by another young male employee (employee #2) earlier at check-in and aligned with how others wore their safety gear.
Up on the zip line trail, after other riders went over to the next zip line launch pad, suddenly employee #1 said to me before I went over as the last rider on the zip line that he needed to "adjust" my safety straps. Thereafter, employee #1 began to pull all three safety straps (my legs and stomach area) extremely tight that the straps dug into my skin and constricted my movement.
I did not know at the time that this was wrong as well as harmful to me and dangerous to my body and safety. Employee #1 tightened all three straps beyond necessary compared to other riders. This happened in front of employee #2 up on the zip line trail. Employee #2 stood by, watched, and did nothing as employee #1 "adjusted" my safety straps.
As safety is of priority and if you are not from Texas don't go to this place. They were not welcoming. Such wickedness shall not go unpunished by the Almighty.
If you do go, warning: Check other riders around you to ensure your helmet and safety gear are in line with other riders. I would not trust that the all employees at this venue will maintain safety guidelines or adhere to standards.
Thank you,

This was an exciting covid activity. Hill Country views were lovely! Ten lines vary in speed and length, and the hikes to the lines were reasonable. There were opportunities between lines to hydrate with complimentary bottled water and to take breathers in shady resting spots with seating. Good humored and patient, all three guides gave great instruction to those who were doing it for the first time. Mark, Dane and Maya led the adventure with infectious enthusiasm and confidence. We felt safe and in good hands. We were fortunate to have very fun people from Houston in our group. Will definitely return for another go!

My favorite part was the launch. Stepping off and feeling the harness take up the slack meant that you were about to pick up speed and enjoy a fantastic view. The young folks watching over us were friendly, engaging, and patient. They also knew what they were doing and were disciplined in ensuring safety and that their customers enjoyed themselves. I'd recommend Wimberely Zipline to anyone looking to have some excitement and fun.

Took my son and nephew for a fun adventure while on family vacation. The staff was safe and very personable.
The hiking wasn’t bad at all but might seem steep for some visitors.
The staff was also very diligent making sure precautious were taken given the Covid craziness.

Took the family to enjoy an electronic free day and it was worth it!! The guides were fun and personable .. Morgan was our guide and she made us laugh and feel safe! The views are spectacular and you really got some speed zipping across the hill country. Wish we could have spent all day running off the ramps and zooming through the sky! Thanks for a great day.

Took the family for our very FIRST ziplining experience and it was amazing!! Easy to find, staff was so friendly. Ariel was our guide, she was interactive, kept us engaged and informed (although her driving was questionable...inset laughing emoji here). There is some light hiking, but overall easy. Ages in our family ranged from 10-48, the littles loved it. Our youngest asked if she could do all 10 lines again. Bucket list MUST!!!

My son is on spring break and we were looking for a fun afternoon trip. We live in San Antonio, so Wimberley is a short 60 minute drive north for us. My son has never tried zip lining before, so we thought this would be very cool to try it out.
It did not disappoint. We had a blast. 10 zip lines through some beautiful scenery. The instructors, who can make or break a tour, were awesome. Energetic, funny and very engaging. They paid special attention to my son (who for reference is 9) and made sure he was safe throughout and provided clear instructions. We had a good group who engaged with the instructors and cracked jokes. Made for a fun tour and good atmosphere. The tour lasted around 90 mins and involved some light hiking.
Would also like to add, that as soon as we arrived, we were made to feel very welcome.
Can't say enough good things about this. I would like to thank everyone at Wimberley Zip Line adventures for a fun, safe and enjoyable experience! We will return!

It's really not that far. And they have water if it's hot, and benches to sit down and rest. But it's hilly so have good shoes on. You'll love it if you have never zipped before. The people are great and very helpful.

My fiance and I would like to get married at your hotel next April (2015). Do you allow weddings at your hotel? It is going to be an exchange of vows just between the two of us.

Hey there when we visited it was only for the zip line adventure. As far as we're we stayed at the leeway cottages the area is very beautiful and perhaps management would allow for a ceremony down at the creek unless you are looking at a ceremony with the zip line.
Hope this helps :)
