We went here July 2020 and was greeted with a teenage female who kept arguing with someone on her cellphone. The water looks nice (from a distance) with the cave bluffs and island of goats out in the water. I asked for some of the water rentals and everything I could see the girl told me was damaged or had holes. They were apparently not repairing anything. People were fighting for paddle boards and ores as we waited for a rental to open up. The only thing available were the heavy $50 canoes. I went back again to check on a rental and stood there 10mins without being helped. Only place to change into your bathing suits were 4 really smelly port-a-pottys. The owner of this place would have probably been furious with the two company iPad minis, wristbands and registers just sitting out in the open for anyone to take for almost 15 mins! I saw people swiping other’s water rentals because there were so few. The sitting areas are nice, if you can manage to get one of the few shaded areas early. If you come during peak times then forget about it. The water is stagnant, smells horrible and does not flow through the swimming area very well unless you get a strong rain. I would avoid this place; will definitely not be going back.

The water was murky, nasty, and super crowded a total waste of my day. Not anything like the pictures online. It would be better to be 21 not kid friendly. There’s also not a lot of room in the actual dam area. I just do not recommend this if you are looking for clear nice water.

You have to pay to get in. The walk from the parking lot to the water is rather far because they have everything fenced off. The water is pretty warm and not very clear. People were fishing in the same spots other people were swimming. Had a friend get tangled up in fishing line that was floating in the water.

Family fun! Spent the day with my 12 and 16 year olds. The water wasn’t as cold as blue hole but was clean and a fun place to float and swim. I’m guessing it truly is a hidden gem because there weren’t many people there. We rented paddle boards and had a great time. Goat Island was an added plus!

Went to visit Jacob's well but found it's booked months in advance. A staff person recommended this swimming hole and it was perfect. Easily accessible, bar with a lower and treetop deck, can rent tubes, floats, boats, and more. Picnic tables and adirondack chairs to relax on. You can bring food/drink except for alcohol which you can purchase at the bar. They also served food - had the burger and chili cheese fries and it was delicious. This is a great place to chill, go swimming, tube, and relax. Must go place for me from now on.

A good size. Swim, or rent a tube, paddle board or canoe, and enjoy. Several picnic and pool side tables. Not much in the way of food (there is a Mexican food truck) so plan ahead.

Nice little spot to cool off. Water was not super cold but was clean. Short drive from Winberley town square. Pretty crowded on weekends but bearable. The guy at the checkin desk barely acknowledged us. Maybe just having a rough day.

We stayed at the lodge for 2 nights and totally enjoyed the swimming hole. We took our own tubes but rented paddle boards for the kids to have fun. There is food and drinks available and plenty of space to set up close to the creek. We totally loved this place and will be returning.

Beautiful, relaxing and family freindly.
We found this wonderful spot and fell in love with it. River has a shallow spot for children to play in the water, swim, and go fishing.
Nice picnic area, great musinc and outside bar.

Loved this park. The cypress trees were so pretty. Met a lovely couple getting some quiet time before their 3rd baby arrived in a few months. The natural scenery, hollowed out giant cypress tree and the peacefulness of the place was great.

Are dogs allowed at cypress falls? And are there food trucks during the week?
