We got new bikes and took our first ride on Cottonbelt Trail. It was an easy, mostly flat, safe ride. We had some difficulty finding it as our GPS took us way out of the way We'll definitely go back and maybe walk our dogs...More

We had this on our itinerary to get a little exercise while driving to Waco. First we tried to find the Harris Creek Rd. entrance but didn't locate it. The directions were a little off but we were able to find a gravel parking area...More

The Trail is 2.3 miles long. Concrete paved. Some is uphill, mostly flat. Parkinglot small, no restrooms. You need to bring water, if you walk the whole Trail.

This is still somewhat of a work in progress, and it would be great if it is longer. But it's one of the best places in town for recreation bike riding and a nice place to take a walk.

This is a great trail for walkers, runners or bikers. It is paved and smooth and wide enough for passing. It features a beautiful bridge crossing over the South Bosque river. There is a children's playground on the eastern portion of the trail also.
