The Armstrong Browning Library, free and open to the public, is located on the campus of Baylor University. It is a 19th-century research center dedicated to the study of the lives and works of Victorian poets Robert and Elizabeth Barrett Browning and houses the world's largest collection of Browning material and fine collections of rare 19th-century books, manuscripts, and works of art.

The Library itself is very interesting with lots of materials and history on display, however, for me the building is the star. I can imagine a formal wedding taking place here. Very helpful docents and a tiny gift shop. Worth the time!

We really enjoyed the stained glass windows! The windows illustrate the poetry of Robert and Elizabeth Barrett Browning. There are also some nice displays of Wedgewood China. About 45 minutes for a quick perusal of the collection. Visitor parking is available on the same side...More

We are so glad you enjoyed our stained glass windows! They are stunning. And our main entrance does indeed face east! Street parking is available in front of the building on Speight Avenue and and behind the building for our accessible entrance on James Avenue.
