Several museums are housed in the complex. It is an amazing place. We have been to many children's museums around the country and this is the best! The natural history museum is amazing. You can walk on a clear floor over a replica of the woolly mammoth discovery site. You could spend hours here!

We went for a few hours and our son really enjoyed it. There were lots of things to see and do and quite a few interactive spaces that he really liked.

Good to have so many activities for the kids to do some people use it as a playground to just run around but if you take the time and learn with your children they will get a better understanding of the activitites, Staff was friendly and helpful and the place was well kept

The Mayborn Museum is one of my 3 year old's favorite places to go. There are so many different hands-on activities for kids, it can literally keep you busy for hours. There are many rooms with different themes and their own unique, fun activities. In addition, there is a separate area that is more like a history museum explaining the... More

The Mayborn Museum has so much to do for kids and adults too! Everytime we go the whole family has a blast. It's very hands-on learning for the kiddos!

Our child was a toddler and there were ample things for him to try and to manipulate. Plus there were other floors with manipulatives for older children to play and learn from. Plus there was plenty of exhibits for us older folks to enjoy. The best thing is that we were able to leave for lunch and come back in,... More

My kids love this place. We were given an annual membership as a gift, and have bought a membership ever since. A great place to let kids learn and explore.

Disclaimer: We only visited the Discovery Area for children so our visit it based on that section of the museum. I went here with my five-year-old and 2.5-year-old and their favorite area was Play Waco, a sort of village with costumes and themed stations/storefronts and vehicles for imaginative play. There are several, varied interactive displays. My only feedback is that... More

We have been members of this museum for 4 years, but don't get to visit a lot. I recently took my 1 year and 8 year olds and they have an awesome time. Specifically my 1 year old who got a chance to experience the newly renovated/updated toddler section. The area was so nice and more age appropriate. That area... More

This museum has plenty of interactive exhibits to entertain children, young or old, for hours. We spent several hours here with our grandchildren ages 8, 10 and 12. They loved it.
