We have lived in Waco an d boated on Lake Waco for almost 25 years, not huge, not overly deep, no real nice sandy beaches to pull up to... but is in town and OUR LAKE! Fishing gets better every year too!

So mush of the surrounding area was under water because of all the rain that had fallen and was still falling while we were there. I hope the area recovers quickly

More like a lake formed by a reservoir. A dam at the northern end of the lake. Went to the entrances on both sides of the lake where there is an admittance fee. Looked like any other lake with entry fees included. Ehhhh…….

Not too big , but certainly big enough for all kinds of water activites , you will love the beauty , serenity & atmosphere of Lake Waco ! There are many small inlets to explore.....you'll think that your in DisneyWorld , it's so beautiful !...More

Beautiful lake for fishing, boating, picnicing... clean & easy to get to. Never too crowded. Beautiful drive along the lake.
