This is a great place for just a walk, to do some bird watching or run with the kids. There is also a fishing pond for kids. There are floating walkways on parts of the wetlands and hard surfaces also. We also enjoy the educational...More

We strolled the wetlands and did view a view birds. The time of year is the key; but if you hit it right would be worth a stop. Enjoyed the fresh air!

If you need a place to walk this one is recommended. Because you're near water, it will stay cool. Lake Waco.

Wonderful walks and hikes through their wetlands and trails. Also can hold 5k runs here, but not after a rain. Interesting exhibits for everyone.

There is not a cost to get into the wetlands to walk around and enjoy. I have not been on a tour yet so not sure if costs are associated with those activities.
