I can't write a review well enough to praise the amazing team at Waco Tours. Last month, I began working with Heather, the Tour and Training Manger at Waco Tours to come up with a customized tour for a group of Sophomore Baylor Moms. As Baylor University parents we didn't want the usual classic tour with a drive through story of the Baylor Campus or the touristy Chip and Joanna Gaines Silo area. We wanted the in depth history of Waco, what makes the community thrive, where our students should enjoy their free time and where they shouldn't be hanging out as concerned moms worry. Heather was terrific with filling an itinerary of 2.5 hours with fun experiences, historical insights, informative facts and a 30 mile trip filled with all things Waco. We enjoyed going to Cameron Park, seeing the Brazos River, driving to Lake Waco and through neighborhoods we didn't know existed beyond our Baylor bubble. We had fun seeing a few Fixer Upper homes and even the Castle as we know the HGTV show has been a big boost to the Waco community. A tasty treat at Heritage Creamery hit the spot for many of us at our first of three stops. Goose and Leah were the best team for our group of 12 and we had so much fun singing to several Texas songs, laughing at silly jokes and feeling comfortable to ask them any questions we had. I'm sure passing motorists wondered if we were really on a Waco Tour or a party bus as we rolled down the streets with hands in the air swaying to the music playing. After our tour we were pleased to get a coupon book full of local vendor coupons we could share with our students to use and give back to Waco businesses near campus. Many of the participants enjoyed the nice gift shop located in the tour office area. Our tour group even had a local Baylor parent who lived in the area and learned many fun facts and history about the city she calls home. If you haven't booked with Waco Tours, you are missing out. Book your next trip to Waco and don't miss out on this great business who brings faith and love into each of their tours. Thanks again to Heather, Goose and Leah for doing an incredible job. I hope for our next annual Mamma Bear event we can book the evening boat tour and experience Waco from the water. Until next year, continued success to each of you!

Ben and Heather were outstanding. This couple made all 13 "friends" in the van feel wanted, invited and important. The tour hit Waco highlights and offered insights into local (city and state) lore, history and points of interest. We found Waco to have a rich history, great beautiful areas, and much value. We appreciated the great amount of information and anecdotal information. It was nice to see that Waco has so much more to offer than just Magnolia - although that was nice too. Really appreciated the stops and the "surprises" we were given along the way. The concierge sheet was a big help and we visited several of the recommendations before leaving Waco. This tour was top tier. We've been on many similar tours in many American and international cities. This had to be among the best - if not the best yet! Would easily recommend it to anyone. This was the highlight of our Waco visit.

First Mate Preston and Captain Ed were amazing host on our Waco river tour. They were very informative with some well placed dad jokes that made us all laugh. We even got a Dr Pepper float which was tastier than the one from the museum. I would also note that his tour was ADA accessible, which not much in Texas is.
I wish we had done this tour when my daughter first started at Baylor because it gave us a better appreciation for Waco and all its surprising history. Being on the river gave us a great perspective and a different view of a city we’ve been visiting for 3 years. I highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Waco, it was worth the money for an evening of knowledge and relaxation, surrounded by nature and great hosts.

My wife and I loved it! I recommend taking this tour earlier on in your stay in Waco. We did our first day and it showed what fun things we might want to check out for the next couple days. Cameron Park was a highlight to drive through (reminded us of back home in San Diego!). Really appreciated the openness of the company sharing that their faith had a big impact and hearing the story of the founder’s restoration. Shoutout to Don & Lauren for a fun trip!

We took a Waco tour with Leah and Rae on Friday Oct 28, and my husband and I agree that this tour was the highlight of our trip! We would definitely recommend one of these tours, and think it's something you should definitely include in your plans. Both guides were welcoming, informative and amusing hosts showing us around their city. This was a great opportunity to learn about places we wanted to see before we left, and places we should eat. Thank you Leah and Rae!!!!!!

Great time! Cozy in blankets! Tim and Red were terrific hosts and guides, very knowledgeable, helpful, and accommodating!!

Felt like we had new friends with other travelers and our guides by the time we finished. Yumm hot chocolate, beautiful evening, river, sunset, egrets, lights, and stories

We took the Classic Tour a couple years ago and loved it. We will do repeats next time we are in town! Thank you for a wonderful time!

Contemplated spending the money for this tour but it was worth every dollar! A fun, relaxing and picturesque evening that began at 6:45 pm. We met Captain Jacob and First Mate Bobby at Baylor University’s McLane Stadium dock to board our watercraft. Bobby and Jacob provided a 1st class experience on the Brazos and Bosque Rivers. Brazos is the longest river in Texas being 840 miles long! Spans from New Mexico to the Gulf of Mexico. Our guides provided several stories of Waco history that were quite interesting. They even took great photos of everyone and texted them to us the day after our tour. Music, bridges, wildlife, sunset, historic tales and Dr. Pepper ice cream floats topped off an excellent visit to Waco!

We took the bus tour and found it extremely informative and surprisingly fun. Rebecca and Liz were outstanding and treated us like rock stars. They took the time to learn everyone’s names and not only answered a multitude of questions, but encouraged interaction. Multiple stops provided nice breaks and the free ice cream was delicious! It was definitely worth the money and we give it 10 stars!

Excellent tour. The Guides were super friendly, quite knowledgeable and very funny. We learned a lot about Waco from a Brazos River point of view. Folks on our tour suggested we also take their driving tour around the city of Waco.

First Mate Liz and Captain Jesse were amazing! They did a great job making two groups of strangers feel like we had booked the tour as friends. They have an in depth and entertaining description of historical Waco along the river. I’m so glad we chose this tour.
