Great Place

It's such a compact nice zoo. Wonderful for kids and adults alike. The scenery is so soothing and ice. The petting zoo area is wonderful for the kids.

I love the animals at Caldwell. We have been countless times. I don't recommend going when it's hot out. I like going when it's a little cooler. It's not huge but you can easily spend three hours there.

For years the zoo was free. It was started in the owners' backyard years ago with only one animal. It has grown over the years & the zoo has spent lots of money to upgrade & put the animals in natural habitats. They have lots of school programs that are educational & are good community partners. Can't believe this zoo is in Tyler, Tx! Awesome experience, even with the Elephant exhibit under construction!

This is a nice zoo. The animals seem to be in good shape. The only thing is that the penguins need more room. Lots of shade to duct under on a hot day.

Been living here all my life things have changed so much. But, still a lot the same. They have some great exhibits in the zoo. Awesome animals which are seldom hiding so always going to be seen. They have a pretty good cafe & a great Snow cone shack.

Hidden in an older section of North Tyler, you will find this very special place that is the home to some beautiful animals. It's a first class zoo without the crazy crowds of larger cities. A great day for all!
