This place is really nice. Well kept, tons of animals. Food, snacks and all kinds of stuff. Tons of displays that let animals be in a pretty nice natural habitat. It's a great place for kids and adults.
You are allowed to feed the giraffes lettuce, and also had a lot of neat animals their in a clean enviornment. The staff is friendly and have a nice cafe to eat in. They had a few monkeys, however no chimps or grorillas.
I've been to this zoo several times and plan to return. The zoo is small enough that you can see all the animals without feeling rushed, and the design of the enclosures allows you to get great views; attached pictures taken with my phone.

On the way home and about two blocks from the zoo we stopped at Hickory Fare for BBQ. ---the best we have foumd in Tyler. The unsauced brisket was delicious--had to bring home a pound!! The coleslaw was also delicious, the potato salad was good but not my...More
