The roses still in bloom were few in July. BUT the garden had other flowers blooming. The various water elements were beautiful. The garden was peaceful and cool in the morning. There were sunny trails and shady ones. The Rose garden is free to the public. The Rose Museum cost $3.50. Spend the money, it is worth it.

We missed this on our first trip to Tyler last summer! So glad we found it this year. It is free to the public and BEAUTIFUL even in the off season! My kids loved running up and down the paths. What a unique treasure!

I love visiting the Tyler Rose Garden. I have been going since I was a little girl. My kids love to see the beautiful landscape and explore the rose queen dresses.

We enjoyed the pleasant and peaceful walk around the garden. We enjoyed the water areas also. There were also name plates letting us know the names of the plants. Not all the flowers were in full bloom but we expected that for the time os season; but there were still plenty of blooms. There were gazebos, benches, and bridges to... More

We learned about the rose industry, and saw the most beautiful dresses and history of the Tyler rose festival and queens.

We were first customers to the garden and we were greeted warmly by the hostess . We happened to arrive when the museum and gift shops were closed . However , the hostess suggested we head to the Idea Garden first. We found many new ways to use veggies and perennials side by side. The roses were not at their... More

We love our local rose garden- you can walk among the roses and spend as much time as you like. Of course it is best when the roses are in full bloom but the garden is also nice other times of the year

We make special trips to the Rose Garden for pictures almost annually. When the year is good and in the right season the garden is spectacular.
