Fun experience. Very relaxed. Tip: take a backup pair of pants and underwear if you have plans immediately after this experience, in case the kayak has residual lake water from previous outings that can’t fully be shaken out of the kayak.

Booking our boats online was fairly easy. The online waivers were included with each craft selection. The staff were efficient and our group was in the water within minutes of arrival even though they were quite busy. We selected kayaks, a pedal kayak, and a SUP for and hour excursion. It was fun to try the different water crafts. Great activity for a sunny afternoon!

So for many that live in Texas or Houston you know that our weather changes every five minutes. But did not wanna take the chance with Valentine’s Day 2021. So last weekend the weather looked like it was not going to cooperate for Valentine’s Day. So my husband and I decided to go on an early Valentine’s Day Date. We reserved a one hour paddle boat ride at the boat house. We reserved and paid online for a white swan paddle boat. Paddle Boat was easy to maneuver, very reasonable price. It was A one hour paddle boat ride for two for $25 can’t beat. It took a little bit of leg muscle but the trip down part of the waterway and back was fun and relaxing. I found out that there are a lot of very nice and interesting looking restaurants down the Woodlands Waterway. Staff was friendly & they took Covid precautions very satisfied.

This was a great experience. My husband and I chose the water bikes which were $25 for the first hour and $5 for each additional hour. Easy to rent, small storage on bike for purse/wallet.

We had a fun time of paddleboarding around Lake Woodlands in July. Complete your waiver online before your arrival to make the process as quick as possible. We rented three paddleboards for an hour; only one person needs to bring their ID that they will keep until you return. Relatively calm water for the 'inlet' to get to the lake with the trolley passing by, runners, walkers, bikers, and people were sitting on their patios at their homes. Once you get to the lake, you can determine which way to go. We paddled west and eventually arrived at a point where massive homes/ mansions were on the shoreline. The water was a little choppier in the middle of the lake, and whether that was due to the wind blowing, I am uncertain. Be sure to be well hydrated or bring water and a method to secure on your floatation device. We didn't receive any receipt for our transaction. The individuals who helped us get the paddleboards and, when we returned, appeared to be bothered by doing so. Perhaps it was the real-feel of over 100 degrees. Consider a method to secure your keys if you drove, and they have keyholding boards and small unlocked lockers. Sweating with sunscreen on and getting into your eyes presents balance issues when standing to paddleboard!
