I was not familiar with all the restaurants along the Woodlands Waterway. But last weekend on an early Valentine’s Day date with my husband. We came across The Gooses Acre. Enjoyable music coming from the outside patio area. Staff and service was friendly and prompt. Had the sampler platter very pleased. And the wait staff went way beyond on their service and making it a personal experience. Prices were very reasonable and atmosphere felt like a Pub.…

Excellent food by The Woodlands Riverwalk. Open terrace where dogs are welcome. On Sundays kids menu is for free. The gently staff provided our dog with water and treats. We enjoyed the marinated tuna poke and the cheese and fruit platter and both were delicious. An excellent discovery and a place to come often. Excellent food but, overall, extremely friendly staff…

We had the best service and best food at this restaurant! We sat inside and had so much to look at while sitting in our booth. Look at my photos because the food was excellent! The peach Bellini was so refreshing and was the perfect temperature! The customer service in this restaurant cannot be improved because they were really on top of everything!…

We go there often but had not been in a while. The food is always good, and they have good beer and ale selections that are hard to find. The service is always fast and friendly. We recommend it quite often.

Hosted a party for 42 at this restaurant recently and was disappointed at the lack of concern by the employees and management with our poor service. I was assured serving a large party was not a problem. Our food came out in 2 hours and 10 minutes, unfortunately, we only had 35 minutes to gulp it down in order the catch the last trolley of the night back to our hotel. They had no knowledge where the trolley stop was located for us to run and catch, [it was less than a half block from their front door!]. This is, after all, a tourist destination with many customers unfamiliar with the area. Food was pretty good, waitstaff did their best but was poorly trained on beverage refills etc. Pricing fair. The coordinator did an good job "selling the job", but executing is another issue. Terrible front-house staff and manager totally indifferent.…
