Took my four and ten year old nieces here on 12/31 for the NYE countdown parties. It was great. They had a great time and the staff was friendly and the facility was clean. Definitely worth the $10 admission. Great job!!

Our son, daughter-in-law and 2-year old grandson were visiting from Virginia for the holidays. We were looking for something special to do with him. He is a very inquisitive and busy young man, so the Children's Museum seemed a natural. We had never been there. It was great. He was initially a little overwhelmed, but quickly settled into "exploring". It has a few "exhibit type" venues (aquarium, parrot cage, etc.), but most things are hands-on play or experiment areas. There were several dress-up areas; an acting stage with appropriate sized king, queen, knight and ladies-in-waiting, as well as animal costumes, a fire engine with flashing lights (thankfully no siren) and kid-sized firemen's hats and coats. There were coloring and painting stations and a fishing flume with magnetic fishing hooks (came with boots and waterproof smocks to keep clothes dry). There was an Venturi blower where they could "float" ping pong balls and colorful scarfs. There were NUMEROUS building things; large Legos on a table, magnetic chutes and tracks to allow a ball to tumble, movable gears to create machines, translucent colored pegs in slots with lights behind, etc. There was also a neat grocery store with an ATM machine, small grocery carts, plastic foods and a laser check-out. Our grandson was kept busy and mesmerized. We were kept busy watching, following and snapping photos. It was a very enjoyable time. I believe admission was $5 each for adults and kids. You could get your hand stamped and thus leave and come back all day if you wished. A neat place where we will now bring other grandchildren when they visit.

The museum is very small. I think it's family owned. Can get very crowded on the week ends and in summer. Can spend good hour - hour an a half. They have separate baby/toddler area. Dress up, puppets, trucks, grocery/farmers market, little art center, blocks, checkers, air and water play areas with tiny boats and fishes(not real) to catch. Over all I would recommend going here if your kids are 2-4 maybe 5.... older kids might not enjoy as much.

Nice museum with beautiful decor. So much fun interactive stuff for kiddos. Great location. Small enough you can keep up with the kiddos.

My husband and I had an opportunity to take 3 of our grandkids to visit the museum recently. Their ages are 12, 4 and 3. The younger children enjoyed the activities very much! So many opportunities to use their imaginations! However there was very little that held the older’s attention. So definitely for younger children but you may want to find something else for ages 4th grade and up.

My five year old granddaughter had a great time here one afternoon. Not a huge building, yet plenty of interesting things for her to explore. The staff was very helpful and she got to work on a small arts and crafts project, as well. We are very happy The Woodlands, TX has a Children's Museum!!

Museum is an overstatement. If you consider mass chaos in a big room a museum, than sure. I went on a weekday around 10:30am thinking it could not possibly be that busy. Everybody and their dog was there. Kids were running wild and screaming. Every station was so full of kids. Parents not watching their kids. Not worth the price.

It's a good museum but not super large, kind of like a two room play area with decent toys but not really a museum exactly...not even remotely like Houston's. More like an indoor play area with a magic show.
