I have been to the Woodlands Resort several times. We especially enjoy the water park and go at least two times each summer. We always get the water park access walk-out rooms. Let me be honest, I think your money is well spent to get something next to the water park if that is why you are there. I have... More

Enjoyed four nights at this beautiful resort! Our room was spacious & overlooked golf course! Immaculate room, bath & balcony! Our grandchildren really enjoyed the pool, slides and especially the lazy river! Room service was speedy & food was great!

A nine-hole golf course in the shadow of redwoods. There is a small country restaurant typical of a golf course.

Loved playing the Panther course, but I couldn't play it on a regular basis without shares in a golf ball factory. I swear that either the water is magnetic or there are some weird things happeing with gravity on some of these holes. there's no way it could my stroke.... :-). All said the course is superb, well maintained and... More

There are 2 challenging courses at the resort: PantherTrail and The Oaks. Both consume quite some golf balls, and indeed are really interesting to play. Interesting course layout, quite often water, deep rough and lot of trees. PantherTrail was our preferred course, each hole different to play, and a very nice Par4 with island green to finish.

As members we enjoy the special events and access to so many amenities. We always book overseas visitors at the Resort, the hotel prices are good. On site bar and dining choices are first class and reasonably priced PLUS you have all the golf facilities and other outdoor activities. Does get busy at times with conference facilities but we have... More

Depending on the course, gets pretty challenging. High slope and lots of water, it will definitely test your game. Loved it anyway, as only a golfer can...

balcony's were very dirty with leaves. The furniture needs updating very badly. Both beds were terrible to sleep in. The suite that sleeps up to eight only sleeps four. The floors were very dirty. Ketchup or blood on the ceiling. Also, the waterpark was definitly NOT up to par. For $350 a night was NOT worth it. The Hyatt in... More
