The memorial is very nice, though the eternal flame is somewhat hidden from view. The Veterans of Sulphur Springs deserve this and so much more, very nice!

Really moving memorial complete with flags from all the branches of the military, a beautiful water feature and and an eternal flame. It’s in the same square as the courthouse and the glass bathrooms.

Very well thought out and was very surprised to see my Dad’s WWII unit honored. “T” patchers of the 36th. Little known fact, they invaded Italy 8 months before ,”D” day and most of them were from Texas.

The Veterans Memorial is awesome! The well-designed, town square layout provides historical context and celebrates the names of those who have served our country. The water spouts on the opposite end of the square provide a welcome relief to the heat, while the water wall...More
