My keepsake turned out awful. The writing was smashed together and crooked. The paint was inconsistent and didn't even fully cover or connect with the clay impression. I went in with low expectations, but what I picked up was even worse than I imagined...

The supplies are plentiful and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. There are a variety of crafts that you can do and they also have a party room. It is very popular so be aware that you cannot drop in to do pottery wheel work. We worked on glass and I had never done that before and really enjoyed it and appreciated all of the helpful assistance.

My Red Hat Sisters and I decided to book a party at the Fire It Up Pottery & Art Studio place.last Saturday afternoon. The Pottery & Art Studio is a fine arts studio that offers a variety of art projects such as Ready-to-Paint Pottery; Glass Fusing; Dichroic Glass Jewelry Making; Wet Clay Hand-building and using the Potter’s Wheels. Our group decided to have a paint party so we brought in finger foods, birthday cake and our favorite beverages and we each selected a ready to paint pottery piece. Our hostess was a very pleasant and knowledgeable young lady named Mason. She helped us pick out the colors for our projects which included a "dish for fido", a flower vase, a butterfly shaped dish with cover and a Red Hat decorated plate on a stand. We had a wonderful time and I can't wait for us to go back. The only thing that I would change would be to schedule our "party time" as the last appointment of the day, so that we are not so rushed on leaving the premises. :)
