We went looking for some fun. We found it. Security keeps things safe for everyone. There were also officers there too. So the rowdy people are quickly removed. The bathrooms were clean. 3 bars to keep the drinks flowing. The dance floor is huge. We visited on a Friday night and the DJ kept the music to a great mix... More

Big Texas always has good country acts come around for concerts and I always enjoy going because it gets you up close and personal during the shows. The dance floor with a bar in the middle is great, drink prices are affordable. The only negative would be the bathroom attendants (nothing wrong with how they do their job, I just... More

Very fun! We went there twice in a four day stay.... Lots of line dancing and swing dances to live bands!

Big Texas (Spring) is a great dance hall. Plenty of space, good service, excellent dance floor all in a (now) smoke-free ambiance. Wednesday night is the night to learn your Texas dances with lessons at a $5/person. You'll leave the place with at least the basics in two-step, polka, waltz or west coast swing. Saturday nights the crowd and atmosphere... More

A fun experience with line dance (go on the dance floor even tho you can't do the line dance, people will help you out), and they also play other types of country music. Wednesday is girls night out, so you'll get a free drink and it feels like it's happy hour all night bc of the good prices.

It was just okay for a Saturday night. If you don't know how to two step or line dance...don't go to dance. Awkward layout otherwise.

We got there when it opened at 7 pm and checked it out. 5 bars, pool tables. And the dance floor.. WOW.. a round floor around a bar in the middle. There was no cover and drinks CHEAP. Friendly staff. We loved the dance floor. The radio station 93Q was broadcasting live so that was fun getting into that action.... More

Big Texas has it all for a night of fun. The dance floor's unique oval design is unbeatable! Service is fast, and the drinks are inexpensive until 10 PM, then they remain reasonable after that. Bathrooms are always clean!

Love that you can get cover entry deals on their Facebook (always look before going!) and they have good specials.. when they have specials. Go later because when they first open it's very bland and empty. You have to smoke outside now, which is a pain to anyone who smokes when they drink (isn't there a country song about that?).... Big Texas is just north of 1960 and I-45. What I love about this place is the drink specials. Wednesday are $2.00 you call its, and every other day has specials on beers or shots. The cover is usually $5, but is usually waived if you get there before 8 or 9. They have pool, darts, karaoke, dance floor, and... More
