Nice...No Houses!!

Played Tradition, in very good winter condition. Very fair, fun course, not too much trouble to be had. Great course from ladies tees, no forced carries, and pretty short, so you... read more

Driving up to the course, and with the knowledge of the nearby airport, it was not inspiring, the Pro-shop & café were similarly a little downbeat and the practise facility was distinctly average at best. The staff were initially a little cool, but once engaged, I got good feedback and a smile. What a pleasant surprise then to play the... More

Played Tradition, in very good winter condition. Very fair, fun course, not too much trouble to be had. Great course from ladies tees, no forced carries, and pretty short, so you should have a decent score. The one sad thing is there really isn't a viewing area if you enjoy watching others finish, and Tradition is a bit of a... More

its about 30 mins from downtown, near the Bush Intercon airport but its a great facility - 2 x 18's, the much better one is the "Traditions" - good holes, fair layout and true greens - you know its a good course because they have a qualifying event for the Shell Houston Open at this course. What I REALLY like is... More

Really enjoyed playing a round of golf here at cypress wood Houston. My first golf course I have played on in the USA and I was glad it was here. Well staffed in shop and buggy area. No rush to get you out. Quality fairways and greens and I really challenging course

We played the Cypress Course and found it to be enjoyable. Only two detriments: no restrooms other than at the club house, and several holes/fairways are very close to one another thereby causing you to be on the lookout for stray tee shots flying towards you. All in all though, we do recommend the facility.

Cart paths really shake the bones and are in dire need of repair. Doubt if I will go back, a 6 hour round of golf is not my idea of fun.

Great public golf course - 3 different courses to choose from and price is very good for the area. Very well kept and great greens.

After just walking off the green on #10 Tradition course at Cypresswood. One of the players behind us decided to hit with out us clearing the general playing area and I was struct in the lower spine by his golf ball. As they approached we asked several times who hit the shot with no answer. Finally Rusty Moss speaks up... More

Drove an hour and half to play there Sunday on recommendation of friend living nearby .Was able to get tee time friday for sunday easily. Found out why. At $61 total price, expected much more. All staff and other golfers friendly and helpful enough. Except when back ups started. Cart girl told us of open holes. Marshalls said all was good.... More

Really referring to the Tradition layout here, which is one of Houston's great golf courses (the second 18 at Cypresswood is merely average). There is no part of this course that would be described as uninteresting. You can bite off as much as you can handle but you won't suffer from the forward tees. Challenging but fair, as they say....
