Unfortunately this great place closed in 2012 shortly after Southlake voted down a bill that would've allowed the sale of hard liquor within the city. I believe the owners were primary proponents for passing that bill.

Like any place the service can be hit or miss. Usually the staff in the wine bar are fairly friendly - mostly with the regulars. They may or may not be as knowledgeable as the guys in the retail section but the one thing Farpointe has going for it is the selection - not a huge
